摘要： The present invention relates to an antenna for use on a motor vehicle, particularly for cellular radio communication. The antenna comprises an elongate conductor applied to the surface of a vehicle window, the length of the antenna elongate conductor being a minor portion of the length of any peripheral side or edge of the vehicle window. A ground plane is provided along the top edge of the vehicle window, and the top end of the conductor antenna is grounded by virtue of its close proximity to the ground plane.

摘要： An active reception antenna arranged on a non-conductive flat supporting piece (1, 2) set in a conductive body (2) of a motor vehicle, has an active four terminal network (5) having two input terminals (6a, 6b) and two output terminals (7a, 7b), an elongated antenna conductor (3a) secured on the supporting piece, an output transmission line (8) having a first section (14) of well defined layout which is connected to the output terminals (7a, 7b) and forms another antenna conductor (14) with a length (20) introducing a non-negligible however defined impedance for high frequencies between one of the output terminals (7b) and a ground contact (10), the input terminals (6a, 6b) being connected to the first mentioned elongated antenna conductor (3a) and to the other antenna conductor (14), providing an appropriate source impedance at the input of the active four terminal network, the output transmission line (8) having a second section (15) which is connected to the ground contact (10) and also to an inner connector (11a) of the first section (14) of the output transmission line (8), the inner connector (11a) being connected with another of the output terminals (7a), the one output terminal (7b) being connected to the ground contact (10).

摘要： A device for use with an electrically heated window to enable it to be used as a radio antenna has a bifilar wound choke (2) which allows passage of heater current while isolating radio signals from the heater power circuit. The device is connected to radio apparatus via an amplifier (13). The choke (2) and the input of the amplifier (13) are both of relatively low impedance. The choke (2) may be a pot-cored bifilar winding and the amplifier (13) may use a field effect transistor in its input stage connected in grounded gate configuration.
