    • A key switch stabilizer mechanism having a first approximately C-shaped stabilizer wire which is connected to both a key top and a base plate, and is further supported so as to be able to turn with respect to the key top; and a second stabilizer wire having a flat portion connected to the base plate, a bent portion, and another flat portion connected to the key top. Therefore, touching even very lightly any part of the key top surface, in particular the top end peripheral edge, allows a pushing pressure to be imparted to the first and second wires arrayed within the key top, by means of which a membrane push mechanism operates. When pressure on the key top is released, the first and second stabilizer wires follow the reaction force from the membrane switch push mechanism and rise, such that the membrane switch can be operated.

    • A scissors-like linkage structure for use in a key switch includes a first arm having a pivot and a second arm. The second arm has a slot with a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is larger in diameter than the second portion. The pivot selectively moves to the first portion and the second portion. When the pivot moves to the second portion to engage with the second portion, the first arm is rotatably connected to the second arm in a connection configuration. When the pivot moves to the first portion, the first arm and the second arm are in a semi-connection configuration. A method for assembling the scissors-like linkage structure includes the step of forming the scissors-like linkage structure to position the pivot in the first portion of the slot in one injection mode. Then, the pivot moves to the second portion of the slot to engage with a wall of the second portion of the slot.

    • A touch panel comprises a pair of glass substrates (11, 12) each having a transparent conducting, film (13, 14) formed on its one side surface. The glass substrates disposed with their respective transparent conducting films (13, 14) is faced each other and bonded together around their peripheries by a seal (19)having spacers (23′) of insulating material incorporated therein, in which lead-out patterns (17e-17d) intersect the seal (19) prior to extending out of the touch panel. The sphere diameter of the spacers (23′) is selected to be approximately equal to the particle size of silver particles (21) contained in the conducting paste, whereby the spacers may dig in between the conducting material particles to thereby reduce the difference in height between the bumps and dips on those portions of the seal intersecting the lead-out patterns and the remaining portions, respectively.

    • A key top includes a body part having a first width and a flange formed on a lower end portion of the body part so as to have a second width which is larger than the first width. A click rubber is provided on a bottom face of the body part of the key top. The click rubber is elastically deformable such that the key top is vertically moved between an upper first position and a lower second position. A case is formed with a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber has a third width which is larger than the first width but smaller than the second width, for accommodating the body part of the key top therein. The second chamber is continued from the first chamber and has a fourth width which is larger than the second width, for accommodating the flange of the key top and the click rubber therein.

    • An improved bridge structure for keyboards consists of a first linkage element and a second linkage element pivotally engaging with each other. The first linkage element and second linkage element have respectively a pivotal trough which have respectively a pivotal trough slant surface section on the bottom section, and an axle which have respectively an axle slant surface section on the bottom section. The two slant surface sections intersect to form a fulcrum. The fulcrums remain stationary at the center to serve as the circle center of movements such that moving tolerances are unchanged when the key cap is depressed downwards. And the movements are performed based on the stationary center points which support and transfer forces in sideward directions to reduce sideward inclination and shaking.
