摘要： An apparatus for electrical screening of a bushing output of a high-voltage line into an outer wall of an electrical high-voltage device, includes an electrically conductive screen interior and an outer insulation layer, which surrounds the screen interior. A curved circular segment with two limbs in conjunction with a correspondingly shaped barrier system ensures virtually complete electrical screening of corners and edges of a bushing output.

摘要： This invention relates to insulator assemblies for electrical lines, which are provided with supplemental insulation covering the pins, caps, support or suspension fittings of these assemblies as well as parts of their support and suspension structures and of the conductors. In order to uniformize the voltage distribution over the insulators each cap is covered with an electrode connected through impedances to the electrodes on the neighboring insulator caps. The supplemental insulation may consist of silicone grease, insulating tape, or glass. The bypass impedance may consist of resistive, inductive or capacitive elements.

摘要： An insulator including an insulator body, a metal fitting secured to the insulator body via cement material, a conductive layer provided on the insulator body, the conductive layer including a first exposed portion and a second portion embedded in the cement material, and a conductive covering film provided on the second portion of the conductive layer. A conductive grain layer is on the second portion of the conductive layer and is covered by the conductive covering film. According to the present invention, the conductive covering film is more flexible than the second portion of the conductive layer. The present insulator has a simple construction, is easy to produce, and assures continued electrical conduction through the cement material over time.

摘要： The disclosed insulator comprises a series of cylindrical insulating members with barrier cushions interspersed therebetween. Each barrier cushion comprises an insulating disk of greater diameter than the insulating members. Conductive disks are disposed between the insulating members and the insulating disks. Each barrier cushion comprises a pair of such conductive disks, having outer edge portions welded together along an annular joint. The barrier cushions prevent propagation of a spark along the length of the insulator. The conductive disks have laterally projecting convolutions of generally cylindrical curvature, forming spark gaps. The spacing between the adjacent convolutions represents the least spacing between the electrically conductive disks of adjacent barrier cushions.
