摘要： An electrical system which serves to control the firing of multiple grenadeaunchers. The system generates multiple coded tone pairs for up to sixteen launchers which are provided to the launchers through a +28VDC line connected to the vehicular power supply. The tone pairs are decoded enroute to each launcher which exercise a firing circuit triggering the grenade launcher's firing squib causing the grenade to launch.

摘要： There is disclosed a safety device for preventing unauthorized use of an automatic or semi-automatic hand-held fire-arm, such as a shotgun, rifle or revolver, and of the type in which the loading chamber is provided with a lateral opening. The safety device comprises a metallic U-shape frame adapted to surround the underside and lateral sides of the loading chamber. A key-operated lock causes a frame-carried stop member to enter the loading chamber through the lateral opening to secure the device to the gun and to block access to both the magazine and the breech or firing chamber of the fire-arm to prevent magazine loading and passage of bullets or cartridges from the magazine to the breech. The frame also prevents operation of the loading mechanism.

摘要： An electrical system for launching separate salvos, comprised of squibs, jectile bombs or the like, at different times but at the same launch location from a remote position using a single electrical control wire for carrying the current. The system is comprised of a negative polarity relay and a positive polarity relay respectively connected with a first and second salvo, a power supply comprised of two 24 volt batteries supplying power to the circuit from opposite terminals, a selecting switch connected with the batteries to select either positive or negative current to match the relay and salvo desired to be fired, an ignition switch for closing the circuit and a single control wire running from the ignition switch to the relays carrying the positive or negative current required for launching the chosen salvo. By using the selector switch and matching the polarity sensitive relay of the salvo to be fired with the enabling current and pressing the ignition switch, only the desired relay contacts close and the projectiles are launched.

摘要： A firearm is provided having a firing pin block which pulls the firing pin away from the hammer independently of the hammer actuator mechanism. A loaded chamber indicator includes a pivoting indicator lever resistant to breakage and jamming. The firearm also has a reversible thumb safety which is readily inserted, releasably retained and fully operational in either side of the firearm. An ambidextrous thumb safety includes two shaft portions each having integral levers and adapted to mate together to form a single shaft. A selective magazine catch is also provided which allows the shooter to select between a magazine catch mode and a magazine free fall mode.

摘要： A firing pin safety mechanism for a weapon such as a pistol. An inertia firing pin is provided with an annular groove. The firing pin is spring loaded in the firing pin channel of the pistol slide. The safety is provided with a rib canted toward the hammer side of the firing pin. The safety is slidable between "on" and "off" positions within a safety channel which intersects the firing pin channel. When the safety is moved to the "on" position, the rib enters the firing pin groove and cams the firing pin so as to retract and lock the pin in a sheathed position within the slide. In the sheathed position, the firing pin can neither contact the cartridge nor be contacted by the weapon hammer. When the safety is moved to the "off" position, the rib clears the firing pin, and the hammer end of the firing pin is exposed. The firing pin is then free to be operated by the weapon hammer to strike the cartridge.

摘要： An archery bow string release is provided which includes a string draw and release mechanism which is pivotally mounted to a handle member by a universal pivot such as a ball joint. The bow string draw and release device has only one pivoted arm that is biased into engagement with an immovably fixed jaw so as to retain a bow string therebetween. The fixed jaw has a straight jaw that permits a bow string to move when released in a forward direction without any interruptions. The biased jaw has a forward end portion that presents the only inpediment to a drawn bow string.
