摘要： A gun has parts that slide past one another during operation. A coating is formed on at least a surface of a first part that contacts a second part. At least an upper layer of the coating is porous and comprises a thermoset polymer and a filler. One or both parts may be part of a gas-operated reloading mechanism. The coating prevents jamming by excluding particles, yielding to particles that still manage to intrude, and by providing a reservoir for lubricant. The coating reduces clearances, improves accuracy, and reduces operating temperatures. The coating excludes particles from the lubricant, effectively allowing a large volume of lubricant to be used without the drawback of trapping dirt and other contaminants in the lubricant.

摘要： A firearm and tool oiling chamber comprised of an oil less air compressor, sealed chamber, oil atomizer and air filter. Said system introduces air through the oil atomizer breaking oil down to a fine vapor allowing the vapor to cover all surfaces of firearm or tool. As the vapor enters the chamber, being heavier than air it forces air out through the exhaust line and filter. Any escaping oil is caught in filter. The oil is able to cover all surfaces of firearm or tool and to penetrate into areas that hand oiling does not reach using much less oil than conventional methods.

The gun oil composition improves lubricity and gun performance under normal and extreme heat and pressure, minimizes and largely prevents the build-up of carbon and debris fouling on metal and non-metal components of the firearm, and substantially reduces cleaning time, while providing increased protection against environmental components such as dust, dirt and rust. The gun oil composition can include a base oil having at least a high viscosity index, an oil having at least a medium viscosity index with a detergent additive, a low viscosity penetrating oil, and a sulfurized ester.

摘要： A ramrod for a muzzleloader is provided. The ramrod includes a shaft having a knob releasably coupled to one end thereof, the knob having a rounded end and a tapered end that oppose one another. The knob may have a central bore therein, and the shaft may be inserted into the central bore. The tapered end of the knob is configured with respect to the shaft to allow any object that contacts the shaft and slides along the shaft to also slide along and eventually off of the tapered end of the knob without snagging or catching the knob. The rounded end of the knob is positioned at a distal end of the shaft and is configured with respect to the shaft to allow a user of the ramrod to place his/her palm against the rounded end while operating the ramrod to load a muzzleloader.

The body has an opposed end portion having a cylindrical wall and an enclosed free end. The cylindrical wall has a number of lubricant exit apertures. The body may be L-shaped, and the inlet may be threaded for connection to a lubricant container. The cylindrical wall may have an external diameter less than an adjacent portion diameter, so that a shoulder is formed to limit insertion depth. A cap may be provided to cover the exit apertures so that the body may remain attached to the lubricant container.
