摘要： Provided is an azobenzene-based photothermal energy storage molecule represented by Formula I which contains two types of azobenzene unit: two biscarboxyl azobenzene units and one monoamino azobenzene unit. By utilizing the energy difference between the two configurations of the azobenzene units, energy is stored during the transition from trans to cis, and in reverse, energy is released. The carboxyl and amino groups on different azobenzene units can form strong intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds, which leads to a great improvement in energy density and reversion half-life compared with the traditional azobenzene materials in which a single type of an azobenzene unit is grafted. Moreover, the release of thermal energy can be controlled by light and heating, which is beneficial to fully utilize the solar energy for photothermal energy conversion and storage, and used as a solar thermal fuel to the field of heating technology and new generation of light-driven spacecrafts.

摘要： The present disclosure discloses a wind-solar reactor system and a working method thereof. The wind-solar reactor system comprises a nuclear reactor system, a wind power generation system, a solar power storage system and a balance energy system, wherein the nuclear reactor system uses an integrated small modular reactor design, the solar power storage system uses a tower-type solar power storage system design, and a hydrogen production system uses a copper-chlorine cycle hydrogen production technology. A reactor keeps rated full-power operation, generated electricity is adjusted and distributed through a power controller, most of the electricity is used for smoothing the fluctuation of wind power generation, and the excess electricity is used for hydrogen storage of the hydrogen system. Solar power is used for heating saturated steam generated by the reactor into superheated steam through a heater, and then the superheated steam enters a high-pressure cylinder to do work by expansion.

摘要： A method and a system of a high-temperature calcium looping thermochemical energy storage are provided. A thermochemical energy storage system is based on CaCO3/CaO, and an energy storage is performed by a mutual transformation between a thermal energy and a chemical energy. When solar irradiation is sufficient, CaCO3 solid particulates are indirectly heated by hot air generated from solar energy to perform an endothermic decomposition reaction, and received heat is stored in decomposition products of CaO and CO2 in a form of the chemical energy. When heat is required, a reversible thermochemical reaction occurs between the CaO and CO2 under an atmospheric pressure, and the chemical energy stored in the CaO and CO2 is transformed into the heat for release.

摘要： A polymer consisting of small functional molecules can be integrated into solar thermal fuels in the solid-state for solar energy harvesting and storage. In certain embodiments, a solar energy storage device can include one or more layers of photoswitchable moieties associated with a polymer. Such solar thermal fuel polymers can be used to enable deposition from low concentration solutions, resulting in uniform and large-area thin-films. This approach enables conformal deposition on a variety of conducting substrates that can be either flat or structured and control over film growth via electrodeposition conditions and results in highly uniform and large-area thin films.

摘要： A method of storing energy is disclosed. The method comprises heating a material that comprises a CO2 sorbed product and an additive to desorb CO2 from the material and to convert the CO2 sorbed product to a CO2 sorbent. The additive is selected such that it at least partially prevents during heating (i) sintering of the CO2 sorbent and/or the CO2 sorbed product; and (ii) the formation of a crust on the material, the crust minimising or preventing the CO2 sorbent and CO2 from reacting with one another to form the CO2 sorbed product in a subsequent CO2 absorption step. Also disclosed is a composition used to sorb and desorb CO2 in a thermal battery, and a system for implementing the method, the system using the composition.
