摘要： A method and apparatus for an adaptable vehicle light fixture is provided to activate directional illumination aspects of the light fixture based upon sensed characteristics of the vehicle. The vehicle may automatically sense its position, speed, acceleration, heading and angular velocity and may command the light fixture to emit symmetric and/or asymmetric beam patterns based upon the sensed vehicle characteristics. Directional light incident upon the light fixture may also be detected to allow intensity control thereby reducing glare to oncoming traffic. A vehicle light fixture may be pre-configured with lenses and wirelessly programmed for manual and/or automatic operation that is responsive to the pre-configuration. A plurality of vehicles with light fixtures mounted thereon comprise a network of light fixtures that are manually or adaptively controlled as a group.

The fog lamp further comprises at least one LED board that comprises a light source; at least one heat sink that comprises a pair of symmetrical cylindrical arms, and ridges and grooves that are counterparts of the ridges and grooves of the housing. The heat sink further comprises a socket on its outer back wall. The LED board and inner lens are attached to the heat sink. The cylindrical arms deposit in the pair of sockets of the housing. The screw of the inner lens fastens the inner lens to the heat sink. The fog lamp further comprises at least one PCB, at least one adjuster bolt assembly that comprises an adjuster bolt, an O-ring gasket, and a nut. The nut further comprises a protruding knob disposed on its outer wall. The protruding knob comprises a short cylindrical body and a larger ball head that engages the socket of the heat sink. The adjuster bolt is inserted through the access hole of the housing, and the adjuster bolt's head is accessible from outside the housing.

摘要： A light emission module, in particular for a motor vehicle. The module includes a substrate comprising a curved main portion extending in a longitudinal direction. A plurality of electroluminescent elements is arranged on the substrate and configured to emit light rays when supplied with electrical energy. The electroluminescent elements are distributed along the longitudinal direction, and a control assembly suitable for regulating the electrical energy supplied to the electroluminescent elements. The control assembly has a mode of operation in which the control assembly is configured to supply the electroluminescent elements with respective electrical energies and/or powers determined at least as a function of respective main directions of light emission of the electroluminescent elements to obtain at least two maximum light intensities emitted by the electroluminescent elements in the corresponding main direction of emission which are different along the longitudinal direction of the substrate.
