    • An improved rapid assembly/disassembly lamp shade including a top ring, a bottom ring of larger circumference than the top ring, and frame members propped between the top ring and the bottom ring. The top horizontally bowed rod section of each frame member has a laterally projecting tenon such that after the frame members are assembled, the tenons maintain the top horizontally bowed rod sections against the bottom edge of the top ring. Fastening sections having insertive holes are punch molded at bottom ends of the frame members. The fastening sections are placed through the open end of the bottom ring and coupled onto the bottom ring. A series of sequentially arrayed locating slots disposed on the bottom ring in alignment with frame member positions restrict the movement of the frame members.

    • A lighting device includes a reflector, and a lens attached to a front open portion of the reflector. Cantilever-type elastic legs are formed on those portions of the lens respectively opposed to engagement holes in the reflector, and extend in a direction of the circumference of the lens. Engagement projections, for engagement in respective engagement holes, are formed at respective distal end portions of the elastic legs. When the lens is formed into a thin design, the length of the elastic legs in the circumferential direction is not limited, and each elastic leg can have a length sufficient to enable it to be elastically deformed so as to fit the engagement projection into the engagement hole. Therefore, the engagement projection can be positively and easily engaged in the engagement hole. Even if one tried to forcibly engage the engagement projection in the engagement hole, the elastic leg will not break.

    • An improved pull-on clip intended to position and maintain in place a reflector trim within a downlighting housing or “can” and particularly to bias the trim against an opening in a ceiling to retain a finishing flange of the trim in place about the opening. The present clip can be manually assembled to the trim by means of a snap-fastening structure provided on an attachment end of the clip, the use of tools being unnecessary for assembly of the clip to the trim. The clip facilitates lamp positioning within the can and thereby within the fixture such that optimum lamp performance is obtained. A bifurcated distal body portion of the clip provides separately flexible finger portions each having at least two points thereon, the points engaging interior walls of the trim to provide positive connection thereto such that the flexing action of the fingers exert a seating force against the trim which snugly positions the trim about the ceiling opening, thereby providing a clean appearance and positive lamp placement. The invention particularly improves on the clip of U.S. Pat. No. 5,707,143.

    • The present invention relates to a lens retaining clip designed to hold a lens in place in the light path of a light bulb. This invention has two preferred embodiments designed to work with either an MR-16 light bulb or a PAR-36 light bulb. The primary difference between the embodiments is the shape and function of the retaining arms spaced around the perimeter of the retaining clip. Each embodiment of the present invention comprises a generally circular main bracket, and one or more, preferably three equally spaced, retaining arms. The main bracket is narrow in relation to the total diameter of the top member so as not to obstruct the light path of the light bulb. Retaining arms are attached to the outer edge of the main bracket and each are designed with an indented portion designed to “clip” onto the light bulb and retain the lens retaining clip on the bulb. In operation, the lens retaining clip secures a lens of generally the same shape and size as the lens retaining clip against a light bulb. It is desirable for the lens retaining clip to be made from a resilient material. The resilient material allows the lens retaining clip to flex outward around the edge of the light bulb and return to its original shape once in place. The return action of the lens retaining clip is the force that holds the lens retaining clip on the light bulb. The resilient material can include plastic, rubber and metal.

    • An assembled lamp with a detachable lamp rod and lamp seat is disclosed. A wire winding box has a via hole and a bottom of the wire winding box has through hole. A portion of a lamp seat has a penetrating hole. One side of the lamp seat is formed with an embedding hole. A distal end of the lamp seat is locked with an inserting seat. The lamp rod is exactly inserted into the end portion in the lamp seat for electric conduction. The lamp rod is formed with a limit groove. The buckling elastic piece is protruded with an embedding end. After the lamp rod inserts into the lamp seat, the embedding end resists against the locking hole to prevent the lamp rod from protruding out. Thereby, a user can assembled the lamp rod and moreover, the lamp is detachable for storage and transfer with a smaller volume.
