摘要： Disclosed herein is a lighting fixture. Accordingly, the lighting fixture may include a vertical pole having a hollow cylindrical section with a top end and a bottom end. Further, the top end of the vertical pole may include inner-hose threads on an inner surface of the vertical pole. Further, the bottom end of the vertical pole may be attached to a staking structure for positioning the vertical pole above a ground surface. Further, the lighting structure may include a solar panel attached to the vertical pole through a fixing mechanism. Further, the solar panel may be electrically coupled with an energy storage device through a controller. Further, the lighting structure may include at least one illuminating device disposed within the hollow cylindrical section of the vertical pole. Further, the lighting structure may include a decorative fixture that may include a hose connector at a lower end of the decorative fixture.

摘要： An emergency flashlight for illumination or signalling comprising an abrasive member and a pyrophoric member. The abrasive and pyrophoric members are mounted for predetermined relative movement against each other to produce and project a stream of self-igniting particles of pyrophoric material abraded from the pyrophoric member. The position of the members and the direction of their relative movement is aligned to present the stream of particles to a light-transmitting combustion zone. As a flashlight, the device includes a reflector having a reflection or focal zone coincident with this combustion zone and constructed to beam the emitted light to the region to be illuminated. The reflector shields the eyes of the operator from the emitted light and from burning particles and, in preferred embodiments, is a uniform surface of revolution to provide a concentrated light beam. The reflector and abrasive and pyrophoric members can be protected by a transparent cover with the enclosed space vented to allow escape of combustion products and admission of oxygen. The pyrophoric member is preferably a rod adapted to be fed along its axis, as it is consumed, by a spring member, to engage the file-toothed rim of a rotating wheel that serves as the abrasive member. In the embodiments shown, the wheel is driven by a hand crank, an air motor and a battery-powered electric motor.

摘要： A lantern includes an elongated tubular mantle which is attached to a burner assembly by a spring clip and an electronic ignitor for igniting fuel which flows into the mantle. The mantle is surrounded by a globe, and a wire guard surrounds the globe. A ventilator cap is removably attached to the burner assembly and to the wire guard so that the cap, wire guard, and globe can be removed as a unit from the burner assembly. A nut is rotatably captured on the ventilator cap for attaching the ventilator cap to the burner assembly. The fuel tank includes a wide, molded base which provides stable support. An air pump for the fuel tank includes a check valve which automatically opens and closes as air is pumped and a pressure indicator to indicate when the fuel tank reaches operating pressure. The pump is automatically lubricated on each stroke.

The battery compartment has partial dividers for confining the battery and leaving a space for a contact strip having a leg portion on which the battery sits. Different color light transmitting caps can be put over the lamp so that the flashlight can be used for spectator voting or approval.
