    • A transmitting unit which uses bearings and the eccentric principle to reduce or increase the rotational speed. An eccentric portion is integrally formed with an input shaft, and a bearing is assembled along the outer periphery of the eccentric portion. The bearing is eccentrically moved when the input shaft is rotated. The bearing is surrounded by an integrally formed transmitting race, and plurality of radial holes are formed in the transmitting race. The same plurality of transmitting rods are respectively inserted into the radial holes of the transmitting race. An integrally formed outer race surrounds the outer periphery of the transmitting race, and has a plurality of wave grooves on the inner periphery thereof. The same plurality of balls are respectively provided between the transmitting rods and the wave grooves. According to the transmitting unit, the strength of the unit can increase as the unit can be minimized, while the noise and the vibration of the unit can decrease.

    • A reduction gear for a starter-generator of an internal combustion engine, wherein the starter-generator is functionally linked with the crankshaft (2) via a drive belt (6). A planetary gear is mounted in the force-transmitting path between the crankshaft (2) and a first belt pulley (6) that is coaxial to the crankshaft. The aim is to create a reduction gear which provides the gear ratio required for the starting mode and which can be switched in such a manner that it can be operated in any mode of operation. To this end, the reduction gear (8) is a planetary stage that includes a housing (10), an internal gear (11), a sun gear (14), a cage (15) and a planetary ring (16) with internal (18) and external (17). The internal gear intermeshes with the external teeth (17) of the planetary ring (16) and is functionally linked with the crankshaft (2) of the internal combustion engine. The sun gear (14) intermeshes with the internal teeth (18) of the planetary ring (16) and is stationarily linked with the housing (10) via a first coupling (19). The cage (15) is provided with eccentric bearings (42, 43) for the planetary ring (16) and is stationarily linked with the first belt pulley (7). The cage can be stationarily linked with one of the members (11) of the planetary stage via a second coupling (20).

    • A low-vibration and precise electrically driven actuator is provided. A disk is fixed to an input shaft, and a planetary gear is fixed to an output shaft. A circular recess is formed in the disk so as to be eccentric with respect to the input shaft. A ring gear engaged with the planetary gear is rotatably supported by the circular recess. A weight portion W is provided in an unrecessed portion of the disk in order to recover an axial dynamic balance of the disk, which is lost by arranging the circular recess and the ring gear. Since the planetary gear is coaxially fixed to the output shaft, it does not make an eccentric motion and thus its dynamic balance is secured. Accordingly, the axial dynamic balance can be secured in every individual rotating element composing a gear device. The gear device is employed in the electrically driven actuator for the purpose of providing an electrically driven actuator with a low vibration and a property of high precision.
