    • A push button actuator including a plunger movable between return and actuating positions, a flexible conduit with an axial bore therethrough and a flexible core slideably disposed within the bore. The first end of the conduit is operatively connected to the plunger and moves substantially with the plunger. The second end of the conduit and the first end of the core are fixed with respect to the movement of the plunger between its return and activating positions. Movement of the plunger from its return position to its actuating position pushes the first end of the conduit away from the first end of the core, flexing the conduit and causing the second end of the core to be drawn towards the second end of the conduit. The movement of the second end of the core may be used to activate a reaction mechanism operatively connected to the second end of the core.

    • A bicycle shift control device includes a takeup element for pulling and releasing a shift control element, a first finger contact member, a second finger contact member, and an interconnecting member that rotates around a rotational axis. The interconnecting member interconnects the first finger contact member and the second finger contacting member so that the first finger contact member and the second finger contact member move in a same direction relative to the rotational axis. The first finger contact member has a first finger contact surface disposed on a first side of a plane, wherein the first finger contact member moves toward the plane when the takeup element moves in a pulling direction. Conversely, the first finger contact member moves away from the plane when the takeup element moves in a releasing direction. A second finger contact member has a second finger contact surface disposed on the first side of the plane, wherein the second finger contact member moves away from the plane when the takeup element moves in the pulling direction. Conversely, the second finger contact member moves toward the plane when the takeup element moves in the releasing direction. A first straight phantom line perpendicular to the first finger contact surface intersects a second straight phantom line perpendicular to the second finger contact surface.

    • The invention relates to a device for providing relative motion between two components of a cable window lifter which lie in the force transfer cord and are prestressed to one another, and functions as a dampener and for ensuring the provision of sensor signals for clamping protection, particularly if severe clamping leads to a sudden and complete standstill of the window pane.     • An indicator is provided for engaging a first control cable connected to a first bicycle shift control device and for engaging a second control cable connected to a second bicycle shift control device. The indicator includes a housing; a handlebar attachment member for attaching the housing to a handlebar; a first intermediate member; a first coupling member coupled to the first intermediate member for coupling the first intermediate member for movement with the first control cable; and a separate first indicating member viewable from outside the housing, wherein the first indicating member engages the first intermediate member so that movement of the first intermediate member causes movement of the first indicating member. The indicator also includes a second intermediate member; a second coupling member coupled to the second intermediate member for coupling the second intermediate member for movement with the second control cable; and a separate second indicating member viewable from outside the housing, wherein the second indicating member engages the second intermediate member so that movement of the second intermediate member along the guide surface causes movement of the second indicating member. A first biasing mechanism is provided for biasing the first intermediate member in a first direction, and a second biasing mechanism is provided for biasing the second intermediate member in a second direction. The first direction may be different from the second direction to accommodate control cables that do not move in the same direction.
