摘要： The present invention provides a quick startup device for a centrifugal pump. The device includes an upper self-priming chamber, a lower self-priming chamber, and an inlet pipe sequentially arranged from top to bottom. The upper self-priming chamber and the lower self-priming chamber are integrally mounted on the inlet pipe. A main shaft and a hexagonal partition member rotatably mounted on the main shaft are arranged on an axis of the upper self-priming chamber. A blade tip of each partition plate is closely attached to an inner wall surface of the upper self-priming chamber. Three identical accommodation grooves are provided on an inner side of the upper self-priming chamber. A spring and a separation baffle are arranged in each accommodation groove, an exhaust hole is provided on one side of each accommodation groove, and an air intake pipe is provided on the other side of each accommodation groove.

摘要： A well fluid centrifugal pump has a shaft passage in the shaft. The shaft passage has an open upper end above the impellers and a closed lower end below the impellers. An outlet port extends laterally from the shaft passage. A gas-lock re-priming device in the shaft passage diverts a portion of well fluid in the discharge adapter bore through the shaft passage and out the outlet port. The re-priming device may be a pressure actuated valve that is biased to a closed position and opens when the pressure in the discharge adapter bore drops below a minimum. Alternately, the re-priming device may be an orifice member with an orifice passage that continuously diverts a portion of the well fluid in the discharge adapter bore out the outlet port.

The strainer housing can include a reservoir for allowing water to enter the strainer housing so that the pump can self-prime. The strainer housing can also include a post installed within the reservoir. The post can function to prevent a strainer basket from being installed in the strainer housing. The post can be of sufficient volume and/or geometry to allow enough water to enter the strainer housing so that the water feature pump can self-prime while also preventing a strainer basket from being installed in the strainer housing.

摘要： A centrifugal pump includes an impeller rotatably disposed in a volute case for forcing a fluid to flow along a volute internal flow channel formed in the volute case, and first to fourth flow-channel recessed portions opening to the volute internal flow channel. The first and fourth flow-channel recessed portions are formed so as to be recessed in a direction substantially orthogonal to a direction of flow of the fluid. In a self-priming operation, the fluid is introduced into the first and fourth recessed portions whereupon the prime fluid is stirred within internal spaces of the first and second flow-channel recessed portions.

摘要： An inlet sieve for a self-priming floating pump features a bottom wall that is carried in a position that underlies the inlet of the self-priming floating pump at a distance therebelow with the inlet of the pump aligned with an axis that passes through the bottom wall of the sieve. A perforated outer wall of the sieve stands upward from a top side of the bottom wall and extends about the axis. The bottom wall features an outer area that spans inwardly from the perforated outer wall toward the axis, and a protuberance that bulges upwardly from the outer area to an apex of the protuberance that is situated at the axis. Water flowing inwardly toward the protuberance from different radial directions is directed smoothly upward into the inlet of the pump with minimal turbulence in order to optimize the performance of the pump.
