摘要： A scroll compressor has lubricant flow which communicates lubricant onto a motor protector causing the motor protector to trip the motor and stop further rotation when a predetermined lubricant temperature is reached. The motor protector is surrounded by a reservoir which maintains contact between the motor protector and the lubricant, thus facilitating heat transfer between the motor protector and the lubricant. The lubricant is returned to an oil sump remote from the compressor pump set when the reservoir is filled.

A fan provided with vanes to create the wind for the blower and the wind for cooling the engine on both side of the rotating plate is rotated inside the blower case in order to cool the engine, the air in the engine case provided with an air inlet port is suctioned into the blower case from the inlet provided on the wall separating the engine case and the blower case by utilizing the negative pressure created by rotation of the fan, the cylinder inside the engine case is cooled by the air passing from the air inlet port to the blower case via the engine case, and the engine noise emitted to the outside from the air inlet port from the engine case is minimized by passing the air in the engine case to the blower case from the air inlet port.

摘要： A motor-fan assembly for a floor care appliance having an improved working air fan for increased performance and noise reduction, a working air fan housing cover having a plurality of spiral shaped grooves, and a motor cooling air fan housing cover with slot shaped vent openings for increased cooling performance. The working air fan has a larger number of blades as compared to conventional fans wherein the blades are of two different lengths arranged in an alternating pattern circumferentially on an annular shaped disc. The blades are spaced closer together to prevent the passage of debris between adjacent blades and also to reduce flow noise. The passage between the edges of the fan blades and the working air fan cover has been widened and made uniform to aid in the passage of debris over the top of the working air fan. The spiral shaped grooves on the working air fan cover breaks the circulation patterns of the working airflow into smaller re-circulation patterns to reduce noise generated in the working air cavity. The slot shaped vent openings in the motor cooling air fan cover are oriented as close as possible to being parallel to the resultant direction of the motor cooling air exiting the motor housing through the vent openings to minimize drag and improve cooling efficiency.
