摘要： Interference between an intake manifold and a fuel pipe during a vehicle front collision is prevented in an engine which is longitudinally mounted in an engine room. A vehicle component is arranged on the front side of the intake manifold, and the fuel pipe is arranged on the rear side of the intake manifold. The intake manifold includes a plurality of independent intake pipe portions arranged side by side in the vehicle front-rear direction which branch for each of the cylinders of the engine; and a plurality of coupling portions that each couple adjacent independent intake pipe portions to each other in an integral manner A first coupling portion of the plurality of coupling portions positioned on the frontmost side has a lower rigidity than a third coupling portion of the plurality of coupling portions positioned the rearmost side.

摘要： The present disclosure aims to improve circulation of intake air and distribution of bypass intake air to cylinders, while reducing an increase in the overall height of an engine. A supercharger extends along a cylinder bank at a side of a surge tank extending along the cylinder bank. A bypass pipe branching off from an upstream intake pipe configured to introduce the intake air into the supercharger extends along the cylinder bank above the supercharger. A downstream side intake pipe configured to guide the intake air from the supercharger to the surge tank extends downward from the supercharger. The downstream intake pipe is, in a U-shape as viewed along the cylinder bank, connected to the surge tank.

The elastic holder member (51) has an outer peripheral fitting portion (52) fitted to the fitting holding portion (32) while being held in close contact with the outer cylindrical body (27).

The intake air distribution portion has a reflux passage which is a passage that connects the space and a part between the one end portion and the other end in the intake air inlet passage. The reflux passage is a passage which refluxes fresh air and secondary gas introduced from the intake air inlet passage to the intake air inlet passage.

The at least first alignment unit, the second alignment unit, and the third alignment unit may each be constructed and arranged to align the at least one attachment part to the cylinder head exclusively in one of the first aligning direction or the second aligning direction.
