摘要： An improved adjustable gate structure which is suitable for a fence with an opening therein which is too wide or narrow for a conventional gate, the gate's horizontal width can be increased or reduced by simple mechanical adjustments. The preferred embodiment of this gate consists of a main frame with a plurality of long horizontal panels of equal length affixed parallelographically to a vertical panel approximately 5′ in height and an extension frame with the same plurality of short horizontal panels of equal length also affixed to a panel approximately 5′ tall. All of the panels are spaced equally in relation to the ground. Apertures are punched or drilled equidistantly in the short panels and the distal ends of the long panels. The method to join the two frames at a pre-determined width is to interpose the short panels upon the distal ends of the long panels, thereby aligning the apertures with one or two apertures being secured on every set of panels with fasteners. Thus, the newly expanded or reduced width gate is made ready to be swingably upon its mounting post.

The housing has cavities or bay members to selectively receive a latching member of the locking assembly. The elongated post member is tubular and includes lateral openings positioned at its lowermost portion, that once the former is placed inside the housing of the anchorage assembly, the lateral openings are in horizontal alignment with the bay members to allow the piercing of the latching member. The locking assembly includes a lock mounted to the upper end of the post member.

摘要： A fluid delivery system (26) for an automated processor (A) delivers washing, microbial decontaminant, and rinse fluids to spray nozzles (102, 104, 106, 108, 110) in a chamber (12) for sequentially spraying the fluids over a lumened device (B), such as an endoscope. The fluid delivery system also delivers the fluids to connection ports (150, 152, 154) which connect with internal passages (187) of the device for delivering the fluids thereto. Leaking connectors (184) connect the automated processor connection ports with inlet ports (196) of the device and allow a portion of the washing, decontaminant, and rinsing solutions to leak from each inlet port. A computer control system (80) controls cleaning, decontamination, rinsing, and drying stages of a cycle, which are all carried out within the chamber, obviating the need for human contact with the device during processing. A door locking and latching mechanism (90) ensures that the door remains locked during the washing, decontamination, and rinse cycle to avoid accidental injury to an operator from strong chemicals used in the system.
