    • An anti-vehicle barrier, which includes a pad made of a compressible material, such as closed cell polyurethane. Distributed throughout the pad is an array of upwardly directed hollow metal spikes for puncturing the tire of a vehicle which rides over the pad. The spikes may be removable so that upon puncturing the tire, they are removed from the pad and are retained by the puncture tire so as to bring about its rapid deflation. When deployed in the pad, the spikes may be flush with or are below the top surface of the pad, and may be connected to each other or directly to the pad, or to both.

    • A stackable barrier unit includes: an elongate main body having a top surface, a bottom surface, longitudinal ends, and two sidewalls each having an upper margin joined to the top surface a lower margin extending tower than the bottom surface of the main body. A base width defined between lower outer margins of the sidewalls is greater than a top width of the top surface. Engagement extensions having engagement features extend from the longitudinal ends for linking two or more barrier units together. The engagement features may include a tapered pin and a hole. A rib may connect the first sidewall to the second sidewall below the bottom surface. A channel may be formed in the top surface of the main body directly above and parallel to the at least one rib.

    • Automatic placement of safety cones from a moving vehicle is provided. The preferred safety cone would have a flexible cone part. A receptacle holds a plurality of safety cones either with the flexible cone part in non-compressed position or in spring-loaded position. The receptacle is removably attached to the vehicle. A releasing means that is attached to the receptacle is controlled and advances the safety cones in an automatic and controlled fashion, one-by-one, to different locations on a ground surface from a moving vehicle. The advantage is that it automatically handles the placement of a plurality of safety cones while driving. There would be no more need for a person to manually place the safety cones. It provides for increased road safety since it decreases or even eliminates the number of fatal or non-fatal accidents as well as chronic injuries of road-workers that are involved in placing safety cones.

    • Apparatus is disclosed for forming a serial array of temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs), which are disposed upon a single, common release liner, into a collated and nested array of the temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs) such that the collated and nested array of temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs) can be supplied to apparatus for dispensing and applying the temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs) onto pavement surfaces. In accordance with a first embodiment of the apparatus, the plurality of temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs) are formed from a single temporary raised pavement marker (TRPM) extrusion, the extrusion is cut, and subsequently, the markers are mounted upon the single, common release sheet or release liner which has a plurality of adhesive patches previously disposed thereon. The assembly, comprising the plurality of temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs) and the common release liner, is then formed into a collated and nested array. In accordance with a second embodiment of the apparatus, a plurality of pre-formed temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs), having adhesive patches already disposed thereon, are serially deposited and adhered onto a single, common release liner, and subsequently, the assembly, comprising the plurality of temporary raised pavement markers (TRPMs) and the common release sheet or release liner, are formed into a collated and nested array.
