摘要： In a method for forming a rustproof film on a PC strand, the thickness of the resin film is set to 200±80 μm, the pre-heating is performed within a temperature range from 60 to 150° C. to prevent an occurrence of a cob-webbing phenomenon as a result of melting of the synthetic resin powder coating material and the post-heating is performed within a range from 150 to 250° C. in order to uniformize the thickness of the coats adhered to the outer peripheral surfaces of the core wire and the surrounding wires, and the temperature of the pre-heating is set to be lower than the temperature of the post-heating, and the synthetic resin powder coating material including particles having diameters in a range from 0.1 to 250 μm is used, and the line speed in the series of steps is set to 5 to 10 m/min.

摘要： A power line spreading device used to separate the two conductor lines of a twisted pair conductor. The spreading device includes a substantially conical body and a handle. The body further includes a groove in an outer surface orientated in a conic spiral along a length of the body wherein the diameter of the conical body gradually increases from a first end to a second end. The spreading device is engaged with the two conductor lines proximate the first end, rotated about an axis of rotation whereby the groove acts to draw the two conductor lines from a first end toward a second end of the body. The gradual increase in diameter of the spreading device causes and maintains a desired spread distance between the two conductor lines of a twisted pair connector.

摘要： A fid for splicing rope, or line, as it is often called, comprises three parts. One part is a hollow tapered spike with a spade-shaped point to separate and spread apart the strands of the rope to be spliced. A removable stopper, or closure cap, the second part of the fid, seals the open end of the hollow spike, the hollow, sealed interior chamber affording positive buoyancy to the spike as well as providing a convenient storage receptacle for small articles, such as sailmakers'' needles, and the like. The third part of the fid is a detachable tubular handle, or sleeve, which fits on the after end of the spike so that as the spike emerges from the separated and spread-apart rope strands, and is detached from the sleeve, the sleeve remains in place between the opened strands and affords an unobstructed conduit for the introduction of a tuck strand through the opened rope strands.
