摘要： The method includes the steps of functionalizing a polyaryletherketone (PAEK) polymer, and blending the PAEK polymer with water to form a sizing composition. The method may further include the step of applying the sizing composition to a fiber. The method may further include the step of heating the fibers, coated with sizing composition, for example to between 300° C.-400° C. In some methods, the functionalized PAEK polymer comprises functionalized polyetherketoneketone (PEKK). In yet other methods, the functionalized PAEK polymer comprises sulfonated PEKK (sPEKK).

摘要： A dye coating head for depositing dye from a bath onto moving filaments, is in the form of a box having first and second portions (1 and 2) articulately interconnected with an upper portion (1) fixed and a lower portion (2) vertically swingable. A guide (3) for individual filaments of a layer of filaments is mounted on a side of the box which is upstream when seen in the direction movement of the filaments. This guide (3) is transversely displaceable relative to the direction of movement of the filaments. The vertically swingable lower portion (2) has a front wall (7) which, when raised, closes a front portion of the box when the guide (3) is rearwardly moved.

摘要： The instant invention provides a method for treating, in particular, for dyeing fabric warps, wherein the warps in the raw (white) state pass through a so-called sizing bath which rigidifies them and makes them more wear-resistant. The warps so treated are then woven and the textile so made is dyed in a manner to drastically lower costs. The invention calls for untreated warps in the raw (white) state to pass in-line through at least one bath containing the size in a single operational step, the dyes to be deposited being present as a viscous or pasty substance in the bath in addition to the size.

摘要： A textile sheet strand is dyed by conducting it in at least two separate passes around an annular path having a first path section in a dye vat and a section path section in a gas-treatment location. In the dye vat the strand is contacted with a liquid dye bath in each of the paths, and the excess dye is squeezed out of at least two of the passes at the same time by pinch rollers immediately downstream of the dye vat. In the gas-treatment location the passes of the strand are each treated with a gas to fix the dye.

摘要： A frame construction for an open-end spinning machine includes an elongate plate extending along one side of the machine for supporting a first series of spinning unit housings and an elongate plate extending along the other side of the machine for supporting a second series of spinning unit housings. The plates are interconnected by transverse cross-members, which, preferably, do not project beyond the upper and lower extremities of the plates. Apertures equally spaced along the plates serve to receive and support the spinning unit housings.The plates are provided along their upper extremities with inwardly projecting flanges which abut against the cross-members so as to locate the plates.Preferably, the driving elements for the spinning elements supported by the spinning unit housings, and the suction ducts serving to provide vacuum at each of the spinning units are located between and within the upper and lower extremities of the plates.
