The pouch has a bottom, two closed side edges, and an open mouth for the introduction of the items to be packaged. The pouch has a first seal connecting the two side edges, the seal being between the bottom of the pouch and the mouth of the pouch. The first seal, portions of the side edges, and the bottom together define a first area. The pouch has a second seal which extends toward the first seal, with the second seal and the bottom defining a second area. The second area has a precut which extends from the bottom toward the second seal.

摘要： A new way of shipping cartons and other packages so as to minimize the cost and the resource used. The invention is directed in the first embodiment to a liner, particularly for use in combination with shrink wrap packaging, which includes corners for compressive strength and yet panels having deceased height intermediate such corners. The decreased height panels result in conversation of the resource used to make the liner. In a preferred embodiment, the liners are nestable so that they fit closely one on top of each other in the manufacturing process, therefore conserving space. Moreover, nestability of the liner blanks helps promote conservation of resource particularly when the liner blanks are cut from the same fiberboard blank.

The unitized package is formed by a sheet of stretch wrap film that is spirally wrapped about the sides and at least partially overlays the upper and lower surfaces of the stack of insulation containing packages to hold the stack of packages together as a packaged unit. The unitized package has a band adjacent the base of the unitized package which forms a loop adjacent one side of the unitized package to which a pulling means can be secured to pull the unitized package over a horizontal surface, such as a warehouse floor or truck cargo bed, to facilitate moving the unitized package or unloading the unitized package from the truck.

The caddy mechanically interlocks with a second caddy via a series of recessed notches and protruding members. The snugness of the fit between the caddy and the second caddy is improved therefore enhancing stability and decreasing the amount of wasted space between adjacent caddies that are nested together.
