摘要： A creeper has a base originally used for an engine hoist. The base has wheels for easy mobility. The base in its original form may look like an A-shape when viewed from above. Alternatively, the base is modified to accommodate a tilt front end vehicle like a tractor trailer truck. The height adjuster is an extendable/retractable device such as a hydraulic cylinder. A support beam connects the base to a platform. A vertical arm support, which is preferably metal, keeps the height adjuster in proper alignment for the range of movement of the platform. The platform has a frame. Although the frame can be any number of pieces, it is two pieces in this embodiment. The two pieces include a body section and a chest board section connected by a pivot plate. The entire platform can be folded down for easy storage. Each section is preferably padded with a body pad and a chest pad, respectively. There are preferably three platform pivot points: a first pivot point which attaches the platform to the support beam, a second pivot point where the height adjuster is mounted, and a third pivot point between the chest board and the body board.

The vehicle has at least three (3) but preferably four (4) wheels, or skis or a combination of wheels and skis which may or may not be on independent axles one from the other and which may or may not be each independently shock suspended. There is also a steering mechanism for steering the vehicle and a driver compartment portion for containing a driver of the vehicle in a prone face-down and face-forward position. The vehicle is steerable by the driver from the prone face-down and face-forward position. The mechanism for suspension of the wheels and/or skis is configured to provide precise control in turns especially the carving of turns, by the skis, while descending on snow covered terrain. The attitude of the skis relative to the snow surface changes upon initiation of a turn and while in the turn to increase the edgeing of the skis thereby enhancing the turning characteristics of the vehicle. The vehicle may further have a braking system for slowing or stopping the vehicle and a harness apparatus for harnessing the driver onto and into the vehicle.

摘要： A wheeled walker convertible to a transport chair. The walker has a strap-type backrest that is pivotally attached to the upper end of the handlebars. The backrest can be placed in a forward position when the apparatus is used as a walker and the user wishes to rest in a rearward facing sitting position and in a rearward position when the apparatus is used as a transport chair and the user sits in a forward facing position and is propelled by a care-giver. A novel braking system locates the brake actuating linkage inside the leg and handlebar members and provides accommodates extension height adjustment of the handlebars. A brake lever system providing a linear pull non-cable brake actuation is also disclosed.

摘要： A quick release detachable wheel hub assembly is shown for a lightweight manual wheelchair. The wheelchair wheels mount on exterior hubs and rotate therewith. The inner face out of each of the exterior hubs mates with an opposing outer face of interior hubs. One of the opposing faces on the hubs has a projection or a plurality of projections which fit snugly into corresponding openings on the opposing face of the other hub when the opposing faces of the hubs are mated. The interior hubs are mounted and rotate on detachable axles which screw into the wheelchair frame. A quick release, removable locking pin is inserted through the center of the hubs and into detachable axle and locked in place and thereby causing the hubs to be locked and rotate together. The wheels are quickly detached by simply removing the locking pins and pulling apart the hubs.

A hinge pin is received through the handle and bolster apertures so that the handle and bolster are joined in a hinged fashion.
