摘要： A sensor for measuring a characteristic of a length of a pipeline, wherein the sensor comprises a sensor length arranged to extend helically along the pipeline length; and the sensor length extends parallel to a ridge extending radially from a layer of a wall of the pipeline length. A length of pipeline with an integrated sensor length may be constructed by bending a first strip of material into a helical form that comprises a first ridge; bending a second strip of material into a helical form, wherein the second strip of material comprises a second ridge; forming a tubular shape from the first and second strips of material, wherein the first strip of material at least partially surrounds the second strip of material, and the first ridge engages the second ridge; and wrapping a sensor length about the tubular shape.

摘要： A flexible hose (10), for a vacuum cleaner, has a wall (12), an inner side (14) of which delimiting a cavity (16) for conveying media and at least one outer side (18) of which having a profiling (20) which has, in section, seen along a longitudinal axis (22) of the hose, elevations (24) and depressions (26). On the outer side of the wall, at least one electrically conductive track (28) is provided which extends around the wall and is in electrical contact with at least one electrically conductive thread (30) which electrically connects ends of the hose facing away from one another. The electrically conductive thread is fastened to the outer side in a manner extending substantially along the longitudinal axis of the hose and transverse to the electrically conductive track.

摘要： Both diameter expansion and contraction control and fitting stabilization are achieved at the same time in a pipe end release-type pipe-forming apparatus having a non-inner periphery restriction structure. A driving part (10) provided in an apparatus frame (30) of a pipe-forming apparatus (3N) presses an unformed following strip portion (92) of the strip member (90). A reverse side guide portion (83) is engaged with a pipe end portion (91e) of a preceding spiral pipe portion (91) from a reverse side. A face side guide portion (82) is engaged with the pipe end portion (91e) from a face side. The face side guide portion (82) is shifted to the propulsion rear side beyond the reverse side guide portion (83). The following strip portion (92) is extruded from the driving part (10) toward an inter-guide clearance (84) between the reverse side guide portion (83) and the face side guide portion (82). Preferably, the driving part (10) is position-adjustably attached to the guide portions (83), (82) or the apparatus frame (30) via a position adjustment mechanism (31a).

The strip assembly includes a pair of joined elongate strips, each strip having a strip width and a strip height and each strip including: a base; at least one longitudinal rib upstanding from the base; a pair of spaced apart longitudinal parallel edges; and an angled joining end surface. Each joining end surface has a joining width, the joining width at least 5% greater than the strip width. Also each joining end surface has a joining height, the joining height at least 10% greater than the strip height. The additional joint area provided by the angled joining end surfaces provides a significantly stronger joint.

Process comprises providing a stem strip, wrapping a continuous yarn around a moving endless band, juxtaposing the continuous stem strip with the band's edge, ultrasonically welding the yarn portions adjacent to the band's edge to the stem strip at a predetermined density, removing the stem strip having the yarn ultrasonically welded thereto from the endless band, and cutting the stem strip into a plurality of applicator components.

摘要： In an embodiment, a long reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) in which joint portions are formed at both side edge portions and to which a reinforcing material continuously formed in the longitudinal direction is attached is supplied, and mutually adjacent joint portions are joined to each other, thereby producing a spiral pipe (S). A curl-forming apparatus (3) includes a sending roller for the reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) and a curl guide. Using the curl-forming apparatus (3), adjacent parts of the reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) are subjected to plastic deformation to form spirals by being provided with arc-like curls having a radius of curvature substantially similar to or not greater than the radius of curvature of the spiral pipe (S). Accordingly, the spiral pipe (S) can be produced while suppressing the action of a restoring force that restores the reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) to its original radius of curvature.
