摘要： A dust collection port for a circular saw is formed on the upper rear end of a blade guard. A spring biased door pivotally moved between a closed position and an open position is provided over the port. The guard includes exit ribs and return ribs in the region of the port where the ribs direct the flow of the dust formed by the saw blade. The door includes ribs on the underside surface to secure a hose in the port when the door is in the open position. When the door is in the open position, dust flows through cavity formed by the guard into the exit ribs and into a hose inserted into the port. In the closed position, the dust flows through the exit ribs and into the return ribs to exit through the open lower end of the guard.

摘要： An electric powered rotary hacksaw includes a cylindrical housing, an integral longitudinally extending mounting member and a rotary circular hacksaw blade disposed at one end of the mounting member. The hacksaw blade is fixed to a shaft for rotation about an axis which is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of a mounting member. A variable speed electric motor is disposed in the housing and includes a shaft which extends forwardly in a direction parallel with the longitudinal member. A frustoconical driver member of an elastomeric material is fixed to the end of the shaft and engages the circular blade to displace a portion of the blade out of its normal plane of rotation by an angle of about 5 degrees and for rotating a circular blade.

摘要： For a power saw, a dust-capturing device composed of two sides shields with one side shield having an exhaust duct adapted to be attached to a hose of an external vacuum and a rear panel to aid in capturing and containing dust generated by the saw's use; and the other side shield having a top and rear beveled portion disposed toward the saw to aid in capturing and containing dust generated by the saw's use. The side shields may be of a one-piece or two-piece construction and are adapted to be securely attached to a saw at or near the upper blade guard of the saw. Capturing dust with only one side shield is effective; but, use of both side shields increases the effectiveness. The attachment mechanism to attach the device to the saw may be stationary or adjustable to accommodate any adjustments necessary for varying depths of cuts.

摘要： The invention relates to a portable, hand-operated working machine (1) with a tool which is rotatable by an engine through a driving shaft (20), and a transmission comprising a centrifugal coupling, a driving belt (8) and a driving wheel with a groove (7) for the driving belt fitting in said groove, which driving wheel comprises an outer (3) and an inner (4, 4′) half of the driving wheel, wherein the outer half (3) of the driving wheel consists of an inner wall of a coupling drum (11) being part of the centrifugal coupling, which drum is rotated by the driving shaft when the centrifugal coupling is in the operative state. The characteristic feature of the invention is that a fan (14) is provided inside the driving belt in the axial direction, coaxially to the driving shaft, and arranged to rotate at least when the centrifugal coupling is in the operative state, which fan has fan blades (15) extending at least partly radially beyond said groove for the driving belt, which fan blades are designed to suck cooling air in the axial direction towards the space outside said groove for the driving belt and towards the drum of the centrifugal coupling.
