摘要： A fence construction system and a method for building such a fence are provided. The fence looks like a wall and has wall characteristics, such as a post-tension condition, but is much less expensive and easier to build. A ratcheting system is used to tension the tensile wires which are then secured to the fence posts. A wire lath is applied to the tensile wires and coating material is then applied to the surface of the wire lath. After forming the fence construction, the tensile wires are released and the ratcheting posts are removed. The fence construction system can be used to build a fence portion of up to 300 feet long at one time.

摘要： A preformed fence clip and fence clip nut are provided that are designed to tie the fence fabric of a chain link fence to the fence posts that make up its frame. The fence clips used are generally circular in shape having an open end from which extend outward a pair of clip legs. The opening in the fence clip allows it to be slipped over the outer surface of a fence post resulting in the fence clip encircling the fence post and leaving the clip legs extending perpendicularly therefrom which are then engaged by the fence clip nut which is employed to twist the clip legs together and synch down the clip over the fence post and contained fabric strand. This configuration provides a situation in which the fence clip nut is left in place once the installation is complete which effectively and permanently covers the sharp ends of the fence clip legs which pose a potential danger to people and property.

The rail includes at least one weld-forming region which projects within the rail channel, and may be formed wither as a ridge, or as a longitudinally spaced series of nipple-shaped projections. The upright member is transversely positioned within the rail channel in contact with the weld-forming region. A welding current transmitted between the upright member and the rail causes the weld-forming region to at least partially melt and form a weld within the rail channel.

摘要： A retractable fence assembly has an upright container that houses a coil of fencing material, preferably in the form of a foraminous web of synthetic resinous material. The web is wound up on a core within the container that is in turn rotatable upon a normally stationary spindle, there being a full-length helical return spring that circumscribes the spindle and operably interconnects the core and the spindle. Thus, as the fencing is pulled out of the container through a dispensing slot in the sidewall of the container, the return spring becomes progressively loaded with a return biasing force that maintains tension on the web and facilitates wind up and restorage of the web when usage is complete. A handle at the outer free end of the web facilitates withdrawal and return of the web and is also provided with a releasable locking clip to permit the web to be doubled back onto itself into the shape of a loop to form an enclosure. The assembly may be used in a wide variety of situations, including attachment to a work vehicle for use as temporary barricades or enclosures around work sites.

摘要： An apparatus for demarcating an area for restricting the freedom of movement of animals that may be in the area for grazing purposes. The demarcation element, as such, may be a cord, band, ribbon, strip, cable, rope or electrified or communication wire which may be two parallel wires separated by a flexible insulating material. The demarcation element is supported by a plurality of vehicles although one or two ends of same may be secured at a reference point. The vehicle is supported by two relatively large wheels which are independently connected to motors and the center of gravity of vehicle is lower than the centers of the wheels which may be perpendicular to the ground or slanted inwardly. The vehicle carries solar panels which may be mounted on the wheels if they are slanted. Also measuring devices are included for measuring the length of sections of a demarcation element between vehicles and the angles at which they extend relative to a predetermined direction.
