摘要： An apparatus for coating an interior surface of a conduit. The apparatus has a center rod with a substantially square cross-section that extends axially along the interior surface of the conduit. An index carriage slidably engages the substantially square cross-section of the center rod so that the index carriage maintains a fixed rotational orientation relative to the center rod. An index motor having a variable index position is carried by the index carriage. A coating device for coating the interior surface of the conduit is rotatably attached to the index carriage and connected to the index motor. As such, the coating device has an elevation position that corresponds to the index position of the index motor. A drive motor carried by a drive carriage propels the drive carriage longitudinally along the center rod. Generally, at least one intermediate carriage that slidably engages the substantially square cross-section of the center rod translates motion of the drive carriage to the index carriage so that the index carriage, and hence the coating device, moves longitudinally along the center rod.

摘要： A wetting device for the mat (10) of a carrier material comprises a grasping frame which is constituted by side ledges (101, 102, 104), whereby the mat to be coated (10) can be fixed by clamps (105) to the side ledges. At least one of the side ledges of the frame is configured flexible (bendable), since it preferably comprises several segments (101, 102) which are hinged together. Thus, the clamped mat (10) can be brought into a cylindrical configuration in which it can be coated by a spray device which is introduced into the inner space of the cylinder. Due to the subsequent bending of the flexible side ledge in the opposite direction, the mat (10) can be brought into a second cylindrical configuration for which its other upper surface constitutes the inner side of the cylinder and is thus available for being coated by the spray device. During the spraying operation, the cylinder axis is preferably orientated vertically in order to avoid non-homogeneities of the coating because of the gravitation.

摘要： A coating apparatus with a spray head is provided for coating can bodies internally. The spray head is supplied with coating material through a feed line which passes through the seam welding machine for the container bodies. The combined spray and extraction head is also connected to a suction line which extracts excess coating material which has not been deposited on the internal walls of the container bodies, and returns it through the welding machine. In this way, the escape of coating material between the individual can bodies can largely be avoided, thus reducing contamination of equipment.
