摘要： A membrane filter press has a series of filter plates having an imperforate pipped membrane mounted on each side or one side thereof. Inlet ports are provided with a cantilevered retainer which support adjacent portions of the membrane when the membrane is expanded to effect a squeezing of filter cake deposited on filter media carried by pips on the membrane. The retainer may be circular in the case of a center inlet port or linear in the case of a corner inlet port. Corner outlet ports are provided in the filter plate, with the plate having a linear collection groove juxtaposed to an outer edge portion of the membrane so that filtrate flow from around the membrane pips to the collection groove and by passages only in the plate are conveyed to an outlet port. A beaded membrane rib enhances the connection of the membrane in a filter plate groove at a position adjacent to the plate seal face of adjoining filter plates.

摘要： A filtration-compression type filter press comprising a fixed end plate and a movable end plate and compression filter plates suitably disposed therebetween. Each compression filter plate comprises a base plate having a central opening larger than a slurry feed port and a filter compression diaphragm in the form of two flexible fluid-tight sheets applied to the front and rear surfaces of the base plate and having uneven filter surfaces with a filter cloth piece applied thereto. The diaphragm is integrally formed with a cylindrical portion interconnecting the sheets and extending through the opening in the base plate to define the slurry feed port. A pressure chamber is formed between the base plate and each of the sheets. The compression filter plate has a pressure fluid feed channel communicating at least with the pressure chamber and a filtrate outlet channel open to its filter surface. A ring radially divided at least at one portion for preventing the displacement of the filter compression diaphragm relative to the base plate is fitted in the base plate opening around the cylindrical portion and held to the opening-defining inner periphery of the base plate axially thereof.

The liquid guide grooves are each defined between adjacent ridges arranged side by side on the flange portion and removably attached to the latter.

摘要： In an upright filter press filter elements are arranged in stacked superimposed relationship. Each filter element has a frame having an upper side and a lower side and carrying filter means. A liquid-conveying channel is provided in each frame and terminates at a lateral side thereof for conveying expressed liquid. A lateral tubular extension is provided on each frame having a lower portion protruding downwardly beyond the lower side and a passage oriented in upright direction and communicating with the channel. The passage has at the upper side of the frame an inlet whose inner diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the lower portion so that the lower portion of the extension on the respectively upper filter element is telescopically receivable in the inlet of the passage of the extension of the respectively lower filter element.
