    • A toy figure, with an upper torso; a shoulder flange rotatably mounted on the upper torso; and an extendable arm pivotally mounted to the shoulder flange. The extendable arm may pivot with respect to both the shoulder flange and the upper torso to extend away from the upper torso, and includes an elbow that allows the extendable arm to straighten and bend. The toy figure includes an actuating mechanism disposed within the upper torso that forces the extendable arm to pivot and extend away from the upper torso. A tie rod may interconnect the shoulder flange to a portion of the extendable arm through the elbow so that so that pivotal movement of the arm around the shoulder flange causes the extendable arm to straighten.

    • A gameboard amusement device for simulating an athletic game, contest or event having a gameboard upon which at least two gameboard contact figures engage in contact as directed by a game player, one for each contact figure, through mechanical means comprising a handle, grasped by the player, which handle houses triggers connected mechanically, through a cylinder and contact figure pedestal, to limbs of each contact figure to effect limb movement upon depression and release of the triggers. Each contact figure carries release means at a position on the contact figure which is vulnerable of contact by an opposing contact figure and, upon such contact, causes the contacted figure to fall backward from an upright position in simulation of defeat. The release means can be adjustable to vary the force and player strength required to effect defeat.

    • A structure including a base member having two fencing figures mounted thereon for movement relative to the base and each other so that the conductive sword carried by each figure may be engaged one with the other and the figures manipulated so that the conductive sword of one figure may touch the conductive target area of the other figure, and vice versa. When the conductive swords of the robot figures touch a unique audible signal is produced which is in the motif of the popular concept of outer space sounds and simulates the swishing or swooshing character of a sword blade moving through the air. After a hit has been made by one figure, facilities are provided for preventing the development of sword touch sounds after the hit and prior to the separation of the figures to their remote locations. Also, after a hit has been made by one figure, facilities are provided for preventing the other figure from thereafter producing a hit upon his opponent.

Each is additionally provided with a contacting surface which may be brought into contact with the opposing figure. A latch is provided for each of the figures for normally holding the same in an upright position and when the latch is tripped by contact with the contact element of the opposing figure, the figure whose latch is contacted is biased for movement towards a prone position signalling the end of the fight.
