摘要： A game includes ladder-like targets assembled from tubular rods coupled to each other by various tees and angles. The rods are most preferably a rigid, lightweight, weather-resistant material such as PVC or the like. The couplings can be permanent or removable, depending upon the need for storage or shipping after assembly. Each target includes a plurality of rungs, each spaced from each other by a predetermined distance. Projectiles include two relatively massive ends fabricated from balls similar to golf balls, separated by a flaccid cord or rope. In the most preferred embodiment, the spacing between target rungs is one-half the spacing of the projectile massive ends. The rules of play and various alternative embodiments are also presented.

The pontoon assembly can be varied in its flotation ability by increasing or decreasing flotation. The rebound wall is to be tilted to assume an inclined position so that upon a ball striking the rebound wall, the ball is rebounded in an upward direction away from the surface of the water of the swimming pool. The ball rebound wall apparatus is to be readily removable and disassembled when not in use.

Each backboard is designed to be used in conjunction with a water polo ball. The backboard is to be mounted on a frame which may be located within the water of the swimming pool. The backboard is tilted to assume an inclined position so that upon the ball striking the surface of the backboard it rebounds in an upward direction away from the surface of the water of the swimming pool. The goal apparatus may be collapsible when not in use.

The throwing toy has a plurality of looped filaments, joined at a core region by a wire cinch. The filaments radiate in plural angularly offset planes in a dense, bushy configuration from the core region. The catching device includes a base with a generally convex front outer surface and configured to be held adjacent a user's hand. A plurality of bristles are attached to the base, each having a proximal end adjacent the base and extending from the base to a distal end opposite the proximal end. The bristles are substantially straight from the proximal end to the distal end and are configured to catch the toy when the toy is thrown into contact with the bristles and to hold the toy on contact by engaging the looped filaments of the toy. Each bristle includes a generally enlarged head and the bristles cooperate with the toy to dissipate the toy's kinetic energy to prevent the toy from bouncing off the device.
