摘要： Hemostatic devices for promoting blood clotting can include a substrate (e.g., gauze, textile, sponge, sponge matrix, one or more fibers, etc.), a hemostatic material disposed thereon such as kaolin clay, and a binder material such as crosslinked calcium alginate with a high guluronate monomer molar percentage disposed on the substrate to substantially retain the hemostatic material material. When the device is used to treat a bleeding wound, at least a portion of the clay material comes into contact with blood to accelerate clotting. Moreover, when exposed to blood, the binder has low solubility and retains a majority of the clay material on the gauze. A bandage that can be applied to a bleeding wound to promote blood clotting includes a flexible substrate and a gauze substrate mounted thereon.

摘要： A diaper for collecting biological samples relates to light industry, and more particularly to a diaper for use in medical examinations and in diagnosing a person's state of health on the basis of an analysis of secretions and/or excreta of the individual. The technical aim of the invention is to create a diaper for the quick and efficient collection of biological samples, the use of which is not restricted by a particular type of indicator substance, and the structural characteristics of which provide for simple, convenient and efficient use. The present diaper (1) for collecting biological samples consists of at least a secretion and/or excreta absorbing base and a detachable absorbing layer (3). The secretion and/or excreta absorbing base of the diaper is provided with at least one through-hole (2). The hole is hermetically sealed on the outside by a sampling element consisting of the detachable absorbing layer and also of a water-impermeable layer (4) and a retaining layer (5).

摘要： The present application provides a negative pressure wound dressing, including foam and a bio-cellulose film with a three-dimensional reticular structure formed on a surface of the foam, wherein a projected area of the bio-cellulose film on a bonding surface of the foam and the bio-cellulose film is greater than or equal to that of the foam. The presence of the bio-cellulose film between the foam and a wound avoids the foam from sticking to the wound and the growth of new tissue into the foam when performing a negative pressure wound therapy. Also, when replacing the foam, a secondary damage to the wound is reduced, so as to relieve pain that the patient suffers.

摘要： A system for treating a linear wound on a patient has a closing dressing bolster for placing on the patient's epidermis over the linear wound, a sealing subsystem for providing a seal over the closing dressing bolster and the patient, and a reduced-pressure subsystem for delivering reduced pressure to the sealing subsystem. The sealing subsystem and reduced pressure subsystem are operable to deliver reduced pressure to the closing dressing bolster. The closing dressing bolster is operable under reduced pressure to develop a inward closing. The closing dressing bolster may include one or more closing members on each side of a center wound area to create the inward closing when under reduced pressure. A compressive force may also be developed. Other systems and methods are presented.

The method comprises applying to the skin surface covering a body part or region affected by the bursitis a composition capable of transdermally attracting fluids from the body part or region or its proximity, wherein the composition includes at least one adsorptive or absorptive agent, and leaving the composition in contact with the skin for sufficient time to allow the composition to transdermally absorb or adsorb at least a portion of the body fluids from the body part or region.
