摘要： A pre-tied easily removable necktie includes an elongated strand of relatively soft, fabric having a relatively narrow end and a relatively wide end in overlapping relationship, tied to provide a permanent, adhesively fused knot therein and wherein a pair of tails extend away from the knot; and a relatively inelastic neck belt removably secured between the pair of tails, the neck belt having an elastic portion spliced between opposite ends thereof. A method of forming the pre-tied necktie includes the steps of:a) tying the tie to include a full Windsor knot;b) smoothing out any pleats or puckers in the fabric where the fabric exits the knot;c) injecting a heat activatable adhesive into the knot, between layers of the fabric within the knot;d) placing the tie in a microwave oven and subjecting the tie to microwave heating to thereby activate the adhesive; ande) curing the adhesive within the knot to form a relatively rigidified knot construction.

摘要： A necktie with a knot-forming core includes a necktie body made of cloth and a knot-forming core made of synthetic resin. The necktie body has a necktie panel having a combining hole at a top portion thereof, a knot-cloth sewed to the knot-forming position of the panel and a pair of combining holes at lower corners thereof, and a pair of necktie-arms sewed to the respective upper corners of the knot-cloth which are used for attaching the necktie to shirts of blouses. The knot-forming core includes a core-body and a combining projection provided on the back of the core-body. A Y-shaped necktie having a desired size and shape is assembled merely by placing the core on the back of the knot-forming position of the necktie-body, and thereafter orderly fitting the above-mentioned three combining holes around the combining projection of the core. The Y-shape necktie thus assembled is maintainable, disassemblable, and reassemblable. The Y-shaped necktie can be put on or taken off simply by using an attaching tool like a VELCRO hook and loop fastener, hooks, pressstuds, or magnets, attached both at the necktie-arms and the shirt; a band detachably connected to one of the necktie-arms and which is connected to the above-mentioned attaching tools both at its other end and the necktie-arm. A string movably passes through the core, whose length is adjustable simply by pressing or releasing the projection on the back of the core.

摘要： A tool (10) is provided for creating an indentation or furrow in the portion of a neck tie (20) that flows down and out of the knot (22) formed when the neck tie is tied around a human neck. The tool includes a sheet of flexible material (12) that is bent, folded or curved along midline so as to create a concave and convex surface in the approximate shape of a hollow half cylinder without ends or a piece of tubing split in half along its length. A fin (14) runs along the midline of the sheet of flexible material on its concave surface and bisects the cavity created by the concave surface of the sheet of flexible material. An elongate probe, (16) projects from one end of the fin. The end of the elongate probe (18) is inserted into the bottom of the untightened knot in the necktie and pushed upward until it protrudes from the top of the knot. The fin and concave surface of the sheet of flexible material are then pressed into the surface of the tie that hangs below the knot and faces out and away from the chest. The tie is then formed around the fin and pushed up into the cavities on either side of the fin on the concave side of the sheet of flexible material thereby forming an indentation or furrow in the tie just below the knot.
