摘要： A system, for providing a rotary power to an implement of a machine, includes a first motor control valve associated with a first motor of the machine and a second motor control valve associated with a second motor of the machine. The first motor control valve is configured to be actuated at a first shift point to shift the first motor such that the first motor and the second motor switch between a first implement drive speed and a second implement drive speed. The second motor control valve is configured to be actuated at a second shift point to shift the second motor such that the first motor and the second motor switch between the second implement drive speed and a third implement drive speed. The first and second shift points are based on loading of the implement during operation. In addition, the first and second shift points are different.

The land preparation apparatus has a rotatable drum and a plurality of tools assemblies disposed thereon. A tool assembly of the plurality of tool assemblies includes a tool holder and a tool attached thereto. The tool includes a tool body having a cutting surface disposed on a side of the tool body, an apex disposed on a different side of the tool body opposite the cutting surface, and tool mounting surfaces disposed on the side of the tool body opposite the cutting surface. One tool mounting surface extends outwardly from the apex at an angle toward the cutting surface. Another tool mounting surface extends outwardly from the apex, opposite the other tool mounting surface, at an angle toward the cutting surface. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要： The present invention relates generally to brush cutters and baling machines and methods of operation therefor, and more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for brush cutting and baling wood chips formed during land clearing activities. The apparatus includes a vehicle having front and rear ends. A brush cutter is carried at the front end of the vehicle. The brush cutter has a housing and a brush cutting head mounted for rotation within the housing. The brush cutting head has a support body and a plurality of cutting teeth mounted thereon. The cutting teeth are capable of reducing brush to wood chips and cutting debris when the brush cutting head is actuated. The brush cutting head is operable to take up at least some of the wood chips and cutting debris into the brush cutter housing while the cutting teeth are reducing brush to wood chips and cutting debris. The apparatus is further provided with a bale forming apparatus coupled for towage to the rear end of the vehicle. The bale forming apparatus is operable to form bales of wood chips. A plurality of conveyor assemblies is carried on the brush cutting and bale forming apparatus for transporting the wood chips from the brush cutter housing to the bale forming apparatus.
