    • A holding wrench includes a clamping assembly and a pair of handles. The clamping assembly includes a housing, a transmission gear, a first latching member, a second latching member, and an adjusting subassembly. The first latching member and the second latching member engage with the transmission gear. The adjusting subassembly includes an adjusting member, a pair of pushing members protruding from the adjusting member, and a pair of resisting members. The adjusting member defines a pair of latching grooves. The pair of pushing members is located between the first latching member and the second latching member. When the adjusting member is moved toward the second latching member, one of the pair of pushing member pushes the second latching member away from the transmission gear, and the pair of resisting members latches into the pair of latching grooves, thereby positioning the adjusting member.

    • A self-aligning tapping tool comprises an elongate handle having a longitudinal counterbore through a first end. A tap is received in the counterbore. A collar is operatively secured to the tap. The collar is slightly smaller than the counterbore to enable slidable movement and to prevent rotation of the tap relative to the handle. A retainer is secured to the handled at the first end to retain the collar in the counterbore and has a center opening receiving the tap. A biasing spring in the counterbore biases the tap and the collar outwardly to extend the tap when the handle is turned to thread a hole in a work piece.

    • A portable, handheld, power tool is operable to rotate a tap in an opening in a workpiece to form an internal thread convolution in the opening. The power tool includes a chuck which holds the tap. Left and right handles extend in opposite directions from the chuck and are connected with a housing. A motor is disposed in one of the handles and is connected with the chuck by a drive mechanism. Manual actuation of a motor control lever mounted on the one handle initiates operation of the motor. Upon operation of the motor, force is transmitted through a drive mechanism to the chuck to rotate the chuck and the tap. Upon interruption of operation of the motor, the tap may be rotated under the influence of force which is manually applied to the handles.

    • An apparatus and process for restricting fluid flow in a pipeline by inflation of an expandable flexible sleeve which is attached to a plug having a through hole for the inflation fluid. Several embodiments of flow restrictor cartridges are disclosed including cartridges having retainer arms which pivot outwardly against the interior wall of the pipeline restricting the axial expansion of the flexible sleeve upon inflation, thereby providing higher pressurization of the flexible sleeve for use in pipelines of pressures up to about 100 psi. The flow restrictor cartridges may be used in combination with an insertion assembly and by placement of a boring tip on the flow restrictor cartridge may be used with a disclosed cartridge insertion tool providing reduced loss of pipeline contents upon boring a hole in the pipeline followed by insertion and inflation of the flexible sleeve for restricting fluid flow in the pipe.
