摘要： Disclosed is an improved method of manufacturing cooled accelerator grid with full penetration weld configuration. In a preferred form, the method includes the steps of: machining a plurality of stubs, a first and a second end of a plurality of inconel pipes; welding the stubs with the first end of the inconel pipes forming a water connector assembly; machining of a base plate; welding the base plate with the water connector assembly; machining the base plate welded with the water connector assembly, wherein machining further comprises milling of plurality of cooling channels across angled plane of the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; closing of plurality of cooling channels located on the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; and welding each of plurality of external hydraulic circuits with the second end of each of the plurality of inconel pipes.

摘要： A heat transfer tube fixing apparatus of a heat transfer tube expansion apparatus has grasping sections and a moving section. The grasping sections grasp one axial direction end sections of a plurality of heat transfer tubes in a state where the heat transfer tubes are inserted in a plurality of heat transfer fins. The moving section switches between a first state of covering the surroundings of the grasping sections and a second state of not covering the surroundings of the grasping sections by moving in the axial direction of the heat transfer tubes. The grasping sections fix the heat transfer tubes so as not to move in the axial direction and the heat transfer fins and the heat transfer tubes are fixed by the heat transfer tubes expanding in a state where the moving section is in the first state.

Said ends of the heat exchanger tubes having the sealing elements are arranged at predetermined positions in a mold. Said ends of the heat exchanger tubes are sealed such that a tube sheet material to be casted in the mold does not enter the heat exchanger tubes during casting of the tube sheet material. A tube sheet material is casted in the mold for covering the sealing elements. The tube sheet material is hardened in the mold.

摘要： An electrical heating includes a plurality of electrical heating elements which are held by a housing and which abut heat conducting surfaces over which a medium to be heated flows. The electrical heating elements comprise contact lugs, arranged essentially at the same height, that are connected through a plate element. The plate element includes conductive paths and contact lug receptacles for the contact lugs. The plate element may include a carrier plate of non-conducting material and a stamped out metal plate that are joined together to form one unit. A method of manufacturing a plate element includes manufacturing the carrier plate by injection moulding and subjecting a metal plate to stamping operations to form area elements which are joined together by connecting ridges and in which the contact lug receptacles are located. The carrier plate and the metal plate are then joined, and the connecting ridges are then parted.

摘要： An EGR cooler for an engine. The cooler has a housing with fittings on opposite ends for securement to mating fittings in the engine exhaust system to circulate exhaust through heat exchange tubes in the housing. Coolant inlet and outlet fittings compatible with mating fittings in the engine receive coolant and circulate the coolant in heat exchange relationship with the exhaust gas in the tubes. The cooled gas is then directed to the engine intake manifold to reduce emissions. A method of rebuilding salvaged EGR coolers is also disclosed in which the existing heat exchange components are removed from said salvaged stock EGR cooler and replaced with heat exchange tube sub-assemblies. Exhaust fittings are then welded to the ends of the housing.

The method for manufacturing a fin includes the steps of providing a fin, cutting the fin to form a foldable piece thereon, folding back the foldable piece to be overlapped on the fin and form an accommodating hole, and punching the folded piece and the fin to form two overlapped through-holes. The fin, the heat-dissipating body and heat pipes are assembled together to obtain the heat sink. Since the fins and the heat-dissipating body dissipate the heat of the heat-generating element simultaneously, the heat-dissipating efficiency of the heat sink can be improved.

摘要： A baseboard radiator element is formed of an aluminum tube and fins or vanes of aluminum sheet. An elongated strip of sheet aluminum is bent into a fin assembly of generally rectangular fins alternating with spacer members, with the fins having central apertures. The fin assembly is placed into a fixture and the tube is forced through the aligned apertures to create strong mechanical and thermal contact between tube and fins. The fin structure can be used with center tubes of other materials. A brass or steel connector insert is fitted into the end of the aluminum tube, and the end of the tube is deformed inward using a collet or jaw device to create a hermetic seal with the tube. The process can also be used for joining aluminum tubing to tubing of aluminum or other materials.

The substrate material has a first thermal conductivity value in a direction parallel to the faces and a second thermal conductivity value in a direction normal to the faces, with the second thermal conductivity value being less than the first thermal conductivity value. The conduit material has a thermal conductivity value associated with it, with the thermal conductivity value being greater than the second thermal conductivity value of the substrate. One method of fabricating the thermal spreading device includes disposing a molding material radially about the rods and hardening the material. Other methods include press fitting and shrink fitting the rods into a substrate material.
