    • A window curtain pull cord concentrator safety device of the present invention provides a concentrator device which enables the gathering together of the free ends of a plurality of pull cords of a window curtain set, and enables complete transmission of a pulling force in an emergency.     • A cable clamp may be constructed from a hollow body, a wedge-shaped member and a means for dislodging the member from the body. The body includes a tapered channel that is sized and shaped to accommodate the member and round, flat or rectangular cable sections. The means for dislodging the member include an aperture extending from one side of the member to the other, at least one cylindrical bearing surface positioned at the upper end of the body, and a camshaft. The camshaft has at least one cylindrical end with an inward facing end and an outward facing end. A cylindrical shaft in orthogonally and eccentrically mounted to the inward facing end. The camshaft is positioned so that the cylindrical shaft will bear against the inner surface of the aperture and the end portion will bear against the bearing surface. When the camshaft is rotated, the cylindrical shaft will cause the aperture and the wedge-shaped member to be displaced upwardly from the body. Standard means for rotating the camshaft include: standard screw slots, Phillips screw slots, hex nut connectors, Allen sockets, Torx sockets, and square socket connectors. In a variant, a separate, removable dislodging tool may replace the camshaft as may a captive camshaft that has only a single cylindrical end portion constrained within the upper end of the body. Other variants include means of attaching the body to objects, including wire bails, holes in the body and hooks. Means of connecting the member to the wire bail are provided.

    • A cable socket wedge has two wedge halves held apart by at least three blocks, such that cutting the blocks allows the wedge halves to collapse inward, loosening the wedge and cable in the socket. Crushable inserts are located in the spaces between adjacent pairs of the blocks, between the wedge halves so as to provide sufficient crushable volume to allow the wedge halves to move toward each other when the blocks are cut.     • A two part rope lock for hooking over the railing of a boat, having a hanger member with a pair of transversely arranged guide hooks at upper and lower ends.     • A restraint belt guide loop assembly for deflecting a belt from a retractor to a diagonal position across the occupant upper torso includes a mounting bracket pivotally mounted on the vehicle body and first and second belt clamping bars independently pivotally mounted on the mounting bracket and being eccentrically shaped to define belt clamping faces which are movable toward and away from each other upon rotation of the belt clamping bars. A linkage interconnects the first and second belt clamping bars to simultaneously force rotation of the second clamping bar in a direction toward the first belt clamping bar to thereby move the respective eccentric belt clamping faces of the first and second belt clamping bars into belt clamping proximity with each other to clamp the belt therebetween against further movement through the guide loop assembly. A spring is preferably provided to establish the belt clamping bars in their respective normal positions in which the eccentric belt clamping faces are spaced apart to permit free sliding movement of the belt through the guide loop assembly.
