The media playback system may include one or more playback devices synchronously rendering media content. A user of the mobile device may obtain a system identifier of the playback system that is then sent to a remote server via a cellular network. The remote server, which is in communication with one or more media playback systems, may use the system identifier to recognize the correct media playback system and provide the mobile device with configuration information of the media playback system. Subsequently, the mobile device may use the given information to join the media playback system and control one or more features of the media playback system via a cellular network.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for closing all network connections to a detached user equipment. The local mobility anchor (LMA) receives and reads a control message saying that the user equipment is detached and all the network connections must be closed. The LMA performs the instructions in the control message, i.e. closes all the network connections to the user equipment. After the instructions have been executed, the LMA sends an acknowledgement back to indicate which actions have been performed. Thus, the closing of all network connections is done using only one message exchange and thereby saving signalling in the Core Network.

Using a standard telephone system, the connection for a voice service and a data service is the same. With the introduction of the digital wireless link, the voice connection and the data connection are different. Therefore new dialing commands which indicate the intent of the connection are created. These commands can also be used to designate the intent of the call from a mobile unit capable of data and voice service but not capable of simultaneous voice and data service. They can also be used to invoke simultaneous voice and data services.

摘要： An apparatus and a method are provided for improving user experience in a multi-radio access bearer (multi-RAB) wireless communication system. After a user equipment establishes a circuit-switched communication link and a packet-switched communication link with a core network, it may receive an indication of an error associated with the packet-switched communication link. Here, if the value of a timer such as the RAB re-establishment timer T314 has a predetermined value (e.g., 0), the user equipment may release the packet-switched communication link, and maintain the circuit-switched communication link. The packet-switched communication link may then be re-established. In this fashion, errors that may occur on the data call need not interrupt a voice call.
