摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for equalizing link performance, and relate to the field of optical wavelength division multiplexing. In the present invention, target input power spectra and target output power spectra in all OMS sections in a network and single wave attenuation at a power adjusting point may be concurrently calculated based on link information of the OMS sections, fast adjustment may also be implemented for a complex network topology, and the adjustment may be implemented in a one-off manner to avoid a problem that iteration adjustment is caused by mutual impact of power adjusting points during serial adjustment in a ring network. In addition, it is not required to connect an optical path in the calculation phase, thereby eliminating reliance on a connected optical path in a process for equalizing link performance.

摘要： A metering system for measuring the electrical power used to charge a vehicle is provided. The metering system includes an electrical meter operably coupled to a conductor connected to the vehicle and an electrical outlet. A controller receives signals from the meter to record the measured electrical consumption. The controller includes a plurality of communications devices for communicating with different communications carriers. In one embodiment, the controller selects one of the communications devices based on availability and a desired criterion. The selected communications device then transmits the measured electrical power consumption to a utility provider. In one embodiment, the metering system is mobile.

摘要： A telemetry system is described in which a plurality of channels are coupled to a bus. A control subsystem controls the channels so that one of the channels presents to the bus during its designated time period a channel characteristic. The control subsystem interrogates in the analog domain each of the channels during its designated time period, and forms a signal representative of the channel characteristic. The control subsystem may combine one or more of the signals into a digital packet, and transmit the same via transceiver over a wireless network. The channels may be contained within a submersible enclosure and displaced at intervals along the bus, thereby forming an array for monitoring waterborne threats. The array may lie along an ocean floor, may be towed by a marine vehicle, or may suspended from a deployable buoy containing the control subsystem, transceiver, and a remote power source. The array may further comprise a defensive countermeasure deployable responsive to detecting a threat.

摘要： An office-line trunk circuit is provided to selectively operate on ground-start and loop-start modes. In this circuit, a DC current detection circuit has (i) a first photo coupler detecting a DC loop current caused responsively to supply of the ground to a tip line and a negative power to a ring line from an office bilateral trunk and (ii) a resistor whose resistance is adjusted to prevent a loop start in the office bilateral trunk and allow DC current to be detected. The first photo coupler detects the loop current using the resistor. An incoming detection circuit has a second photo coupler detecting a ring signal coming from the office bilateral trunk. A DC sink circuit has a diode bridge placed between the tip and ring lines and configured to have a DC circuit provided with a transistor controlling the DC loop current so that the office bilateral trunk is allowed to selectively be loop-activated and loop-held.
