    • A method and apparatus of transmitting an uplink control signal of a mobile station (MS) in a wireless communication system is provided. A mobile station (MS) receives resource allocation information of a first uplink control channel for transmitting an uplink synchronization signal and resource allocation information of a second uplink control channel. The MS allocates a first uplink control channel resource and a second uplink control channel resource to the first uplink control channel and the second uplink control channel respectively based on the resource allocation information of the first uplink control channel and the resource allocation information on the second uplink control channel and transmits an uplink control signal through at least one of the first uplink control channel and the second uplink control channel to a base station. The first uplink control channel resource is located in a first resource unit among a plurality of resource units constituting a logical resource region, and the first uplink control channel resource and the second uplink control channel resource are allocated in that order in the logical resource region.

    • A method for mapping subband/miniband in a wireless communication system and apparatus therefore are disclosed. The present invention includes dividing the system frequency band into a plurality of physical resource units (PRUs) and mapping a plurality of the physical resource units to a subband physical resource unit (PRUSB) and a miniband physical resource unit (PRUMB), wherein the mapping is based on an interval between contiguous resource units which includes a predetermined number of contiguous PRUs and another interval greater than the former interval and wherein the interval between the contiguous resource units is a roundup value of a value resulting from dividing a maximum number of the contiguous resource units by the number of the contiguous resource units to allocate to the minibands. According to a related art subband/miniband mapping method, if KSB has a greater value, an interval between contiguous PRUs allocated to miniband among total PRUs is narrowed, diversity of the miniband may be lowered. Therefore, the present invention proposes a subband/miniband mapping method for securing diversity gain of miniband by improving the related art subband/miniband mapping method.

    • The present invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication and of mobile communication, and more particularly to a method for spectrum resource allocation and interference avoidance of femtocell in a heterogeneous environment consisting of macro cell and femtocell, and specifically to a spectrum allocation method based on interference suppression and user difference bandwidth requirements. According to the spectrum allocation method based on interference suppression and user difference bandwidth requirements of the present invention, spectrum resource can be allocated reasonably according to the priority level of bandwidth requirements in combination with graph coloring algorithm and chromaticity preference algorithm. In this manner, in-layer interference among femtocells and cross-layer interference among femtocells and macro cells can be effectively suppressed, the difference bandwidth requirements of femtocell users can be satisfied, and the efficiency of frequency utilization and the whole throughput of system can be also optimized to the maximum extent.
