摘要： The disclosure herein describes predicting potential impact of issues reported in incident ticket data on infrastructure element. A ticket manager component includes an impact model utilizing machine learning to analyze real-time event and metric data with incident-related data to generate predicted impact data. The predicted impact data identifies potentially impacted infrastructure elements, such as, potentially impacted users, predicted infrastructure components impacted by the issue and/or an updated time-period associated with the issue. The ticket manager component creates labeled incident tickets by updating user-generated incident tickets with additional data generated by the impact model, including predicted impact data and/or additional details associated with the issue. The labeled incident tickets are provided back to the model as training data to further refine predictions generated by the model.

摘要： In one embodiment, a network assurance service that monitors a wireless network receives data regarding connection failures of a wireless client of the wireless network. The network assurance service forms a behavioral profile for the wireless client based on the received data regarding the connection failures of the wireless client. The network assurance service uses machine learning to determine whether the behavioral profile of the wireless client is an outlier in relation to behavioral profiles of other wireless clients of the wireless network. The network assurance service causes performance of a mitigation action with respect to the wireless client, when the wireless client is determined to be an outlier.

An alert that includes information associated with the outage and one or more customers impacted by the outage is generated.

In embodiments, customer calls from a mobile device to a network's customer care organization are an indication that a network event has occurred. An address associated with a user of the mobile device is identified. The network event is attributed to a base station associated with the address. Events associated with the base station are aggregated. A normal value for calls is determined based on historical data. A threshold value is set based on customer calls in excess of the normal value for the base station. A severity level is associated with the threshold value. The severity levels are monitored and tickets for network services are created and prioritized.

摘要： A method for managing a network element inventory for a video and data network is provided. The method includes self-discovering a physical network inventory of the video and data network. Additionally, a logical network inventory of the video and data network is self-discovered. Further, a planned network inventory of the video and data network is provided. 摘要： A cable modem termination system (CMTS) provides for ordered switchover of the cable modems it serves when a primary module of the CMTS fails. When the primary module in the CMTS fails, a backup module takes over service of the cable modems. The backup module restores the service flows of the cable modems based on a restoration order determined by session recovery priorities that are related to quality of service levels required by the service flows. In particular, service flows that are engaged in VoIP “911” calls are restored first. Service flows engaged in other VoIP calls are next restored. Lastly, service flows engaged in regular data sessions are restored.
