摘要： The present disclosure provides a transmission method comprising splitting a block of bits to be transmitted into a number of groups each consisting of k+2q bits, wherein k and q are natural numbers and each of the groups includes a subgroup consisting of k bits and two subgroups each consisting of q bits and performing 2q-ary QAM modulation on the subgroups of q bits from the groups of k+2q bits to obtain QAM symbols, respectively. The QAM symbols are processed so that two QAM symbols obtained from the two subgroups of q bits in each of the groups of k+2q bits are mapped onto at least two antennas as consecutive processed symbols. Through the use of 2k-ary FSK modulation, a frequency tone to which the two consecutive processed symbols are allocated is selected according to the subgroup of k bits from each of the groups of k+2q bits before transmission.

摘要： Various aspects described herein relate to distinguishing frequency shift keying (FSK) signals transmitted by each user of multiple users in a wireless communications system. One or more symbols for transmitting in an FSK-modulated signal can be obtained by a user. The one or more symbols can be encoded based on a tone location assignment corresponding to a unique spreading code associated with the user. Quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) and/or phase-shift keying (PSK) can be performed over at least one tone associated with the encoded symbols. Each user can transmit the encoded symbols to a receiving entity, where the receiving entity can decode each symbol received from the plurality of users to produce a distinguishable symbol for each user based on the unique spreading codes associated with each user.

摘要： A data transmission system, comprising a first node in a wireless communications network, the node comprising a radio frequency communications system having high resistance to interference. The radio frequency communications system is configured to measure an interference potential of a second node in the wireless communications network and arrange a priority and timing structure that maximizes reuse of available frequencies. The radio frequency communications system is also configured to encode and decode data and network control signals using a multi-level frequency shift keying modulation scheme. The node also comprising a directional and steerable antenna system, wherein the directional and steerable antenna system is capable of forming a radio frequency transmission into a beam directed to a desired target and transmitting a radiating omni-directional radio frequency transmission.

A terminal estimates a channel coefficient for each of subcarriers included in each symbol of the received signals, calculates power of the received signal matched to each of the subcarriers, calculates an interference estimation parameter for each of the subcarriers based on the power of the received signal matched to each of the subcarriers and based on power of a channel coefficient for a subcarrier on which the received signal has maximum power among the subcarriers, and calculates a non-Gaussian characteristic parameter of an interference signal related to the received signals based on the interference estimation parameters calculated for the subcarriers of all the symbols of the received signals.

摘要： Apparatus and method for acquiring and tracking a data signal are disclosed. Two different CDR circuits are configured to acquire and track data based on two different modulation schemes. While in the acquisition mode, the first CDR circuit may acquire data signal by sampling the signal at a reduced clock rate and handover to the second CDR circuit when a preamble is found. Also in the acquisition mode, the data acquisition and tracking circuit may determine the power level of the preamble signal and dynamically adjust the threshold level for the tracking period upon finding of the preamble.
