    • The present invention discloses a method and device for performing coordinated precoding in a wireless access system. In particular, the present invention includes: transmitting, to a base station, a measurement result of a plurality of interference signals by a terminal, the plurality of interference signals being transmitted from a plurality of adjacent base stations; receiving quasi-orthogonal CDM (Q-CDM) code information from the base station by the terminal in order to remove some of the plurality of interference signals, the Q-CDM code information being determined by the base station and the plurality of adjacent base stations; transmitting information on a channel state to the base station on the basis of a Q-CDM code by the terminal; and receiving downlink data, to which coordinated precoding is applied, from the base station by the terminal. Interference signals that have an intensity greater than a predetermined threshold from among the plurality of interference signals may be removed by using the Q-CDM code, and interference signals that have an intensity less than the predetermined threshold from among the plurality of interference signals may be removed by using null precoding.

    • Multiple antennas employed at the transmitter and receiver can significantly increase a MIMO system capacity, especially when channel knowledge is available at the transmitter. Channel state information may be provided to the transmitter by the receiver in a codebook based precoding feedback. In a proposed approach is proposed in which the receiver conducts a search of precoder elements of a codebook to provide the transmitter with rank information and precoder control index that enhances capacity. Unlike the conventional exhaustive search, the proposed approach reduces complexity by reducing the search space of precoder elements for consideration. Performance loss is minimized by reducing the search space of higher rank precoder elements. For some ranks, the complexity is reduced without any performance sacrifice by grouping the precoder elements of the rank into groups of equivalent capacities and including at most one precoder element from each group into the search space.

    • A mobile terminal apparatus estimates downlink channel states using respective reference signals included in downlink signals from plural cells; selects PMIs (Precoding Matrix Indicators) using a codebook based on the channel states; estimates a phase difference between the cells based on the selected PMIs or the channel states; and transmits information of the phase difference and the selected PMIs to radio base station apparatuses of the respective cells. A radio base station apparatus receives an uplink signal including a PMI and the information of the phase difference between the cells; multiplies a transmission signal by a precoding weight corresponding to the PMI; adjusts the phase difference between the cells with use of the information of the phase difference between the cells; and transmits the transmission signal to a radio base station apparatus of another cell by coordinated multi-point transmission.
