摘要： A safety circuit for temperature tripping with redundancy is disclosed. The safety circuit comprises a first temperature evaluation module comprising a first input arranged to receive a first input signal derived from a temperature by means of a temperature-dependent element; the first temperature evaluation module further comprising a first output arranged to provide a first output signal corresponding to said determined first temperature state. The safety circuit further comprises a second temperature evaluation module comprising a second input arranged to receive a second input signal derived from said temperature by means of said temperature-dependent element, the second input signal being different from said first input signal; the second temperature evaluation module further comprising a second output arranged to provide a second output signal corresponding to said determined second temperature state. The safety circuit further comprises a tripping monitoring unit connected to said first and second outputs and being arranged to establish a tripping command signal when at least one of said first and second output signals changes to a trip state. A safety circuit operation method and an electrically powered motor comprising the safety circuit are further disclosed.

摘要： A compressor for commercial refrigerators comprises an electric motor having a start winding (120) and a run winding (130), in which the input terminals of the start winding (120) and the run winding (130) are connected together and to the line voltage (L), and an electronic start device to supply the start winding (120) during a starting period. The electronic start device comprises a run condenser (40) having a first terminal connected to the output terminal from the start winding (120) and a second terminal connected to the output terminal from the run winding (130), and a start capacitor (45) having a first terminal connected to the output terminal of the start winding (120). In the electronic start device there is also provided a solid state switch (110) which supplies the start winding (120) and is connected between the second terminal of the start capacitor (45) and the neutral terminal of the supply (N), and a control circuit (100) comprising a delay circuit (210, 220) which controls switching of the solid state switch (110) closing it to start the motor and opening it at the end of the starting period once the motor has started.

摘要： A compressor includes an electric motor and a protector device. The motor drives a compression mechanism and has a rotor and a stator. The stator includes aluminum windings. The protector device is attached to the stator and is configured to disconnect the motor from a power supply when an input voltage of the power supply to the motor is less than a threshold voltage value set at a level between a minimum run voltage and an overheat voltage of the compressor. The overheat voltage corresponds to an overheat temperature of the motor. The threshold voltage value is set at a level that is between the minimum run voltage and the overheat voltage. The protector device includes a tolerance level such that the threshold voltage minus the tolerance level is greater than the overheat voltage and the threshold voltage plus the tolerance level is less than the minimum run voltage.
