摘要： An annular seal member comprising a seal body comprising a locating portion locatable against a wall element of an offshore structure, an inner surface, an outer surface and a lip portion that defines an open mouth of the seal member for receiving an elongate element therethrough; wherein the seal body is locatable against the wall element such that when a static pressure acting on the outer surface of the seal body exceeds a static pressure acting on the inner surface of the seal body a net positive pressure is exerted on the outer surface which at least partly deforms inwardly to provide a portion of the seal body for sealing against an outer surface of the elongate element. 摘要： A workstation and method for the installation of a pulling head assembly onto one or more conductors of a cabling system are provided. The workstation incorporates one or more of: a conductor clamp that holds the conductors of the cabling system in place during the installation of the pulling head assembly; a cutting guide having indicia marks that indicate the lengths to which to cut the conductors in order to achieve a staggered pattern of pulling eyes attached to the conductors in the pulling head assembly; a stripping tool that is used to remove a portion of the insulation from the terminal end of each conductor so that the end of the conductor may be inserted into the pulling eye; and a crimping tool that is used to crimp the pulling eyes onto the terminal ends of each of the conductors.

摘要： A fish tape guide is described which uses a spring and spherical bead system to guide the fish tape through dense conduits. The spring portion helps in giving the essential flexibility and the spherical bead helps in guiding in a desired direction through dense conduits. The spherical bead being connected to the end of the fish tape with a two ended tag. Further when the guide is attached to the fish tape it can be used to hook on and pull an external wire in a desired direction.

摘要： A furcation assembly for electrical conductors of an electro-optical cable with electrical conductors and optical conductors has an inner tube surrounded by a metallic shield layer and a polymer jacket surrounding the metallic shield layer. The inner tube may have a circular or a generally ovaloid cross section inner diameter. A transition housing may be applied over an interconnection between the metallic shield layer and a metallic shield of the electro-optical cable. A pull strand may be provided in the inner tube inner diameter, for ease of insertion of the electrical conductors and/or additional water proofing characteristics.
