摘要： A mounting assembly for electro-mechanically connecting an electrically-powered device to a structure includes a housing, a first printed circuit board, an adapter, and a second printed circuit board. The housing has a shape defining a front opening and a first mating structure. The first printed circuit board is located within the housing and has a first plurality of electrical contacts facing the front opening. The adapter is attachable to the device and has a second mating structure that removably engages with the first mating structure of the housing. The second printed circuit board is coupled with the adapter and has a second plurality of electrical contacts exposed on its back surface to electrically connect to the first plurality of electrical contacts when the first mating structure of the housing engages with the second mating structure of the adapter.

The first unit and the second unit comprise a bayonet fitting for providing a mechanical and electrical connection therebetween. The system has a longitudinal axis, and the bayonet fitting is configured such that the first and second units are connected by relative movement thereof along the longitudinal axis to a first engagement position, and relative rotation of the first and second units about the longitudinal axis from the first engagement position to a final engagement position that prevents both (i) relative movement of the first and second units along the longitudinal axis, and (ii) relative rotation of the first and second units further away from the first engagement position.

In some examples, by attaching the lamp device to the socket device, a cap portion of the lamp device is brought into contact with a fixture body, and pressed against and brought into close contact with the fixture body by an elastic body. Heat generated by lighting of LEDs of the lamp device is conducted from the cap portion to the fixture body and efficiently radiated.

摘要： This invention is directed to a lampholder for receiving a non-incandescent lamp having a 2-pin base. A surface mountable member for receiving the lamp and which has no voltage transforming circuitry is disclosed. Each pin of the lamp has an enlarged cylindrical shaped end attached to a shaft of reduced diameter. The surface mountable member has two keyhole shaped apertures, each of which has a large circular end aperture and an arc shaped slot for receiving and securely holding the pins of the lamp to the surface mountable member. The circular aperture of each keyhole shaped aperture has a diameter which is slightly larger than the diameter of the enlarged cylindrical end of the lamp pin, and the arc shaped slot has a width that is both smaller than the diameter of the cylindrical end of the lamp pin and wider than the diameter of the shaft of the pin. The enlarged ends of the pins of the lamp, when located in the arc shaped slots, prevent the lamp from being pulled out of the surface mountable member.
