摘要： A radio frequency (RF) device includes an RF transmission line structure having opposing boundary walls with a non-rectilinear form factor, and a feed structure configured to introduce RF energy into an area between the opposing boundary walls to illuminate the RF transmission line structure with the RF energy across the non-rectilinear form factor. The feed structure includes a plurality of traveling-waveguide-fed leaky line-segment structures, each configured to launch the RF energy into the area with a propagation direction having an oblique angle relative to an axis of the line-segment structure.

摘要： A high-frequency circuit device, a high-frequency module, and a communication apparatus, which prevent generation of an undesired wave to prevent electrical power loss and undesired coupling, are provided. The high-frequency circuit device includes a first slot line and a second slot line, which are provided at respective surfaces of a dielectric substrate, are formed with the same shape. An FET is provided on the first slot line. For preventing the mounting of the FET from causing a phase difference to occur between a high-frequency signal, which propagates along the first slot line, and a high-frequency signal, which propagates along the second slot line, a phase-adjusting stub is formed at a position of a stub at the second slot line. The phase is adjusted by changing the length of the stub.

摘要： This invention relates to high frequency electromagnetic circuits, in particular to those made on planar or quasi-planar substrates, where the circuit is patterned on a metallic or superconducting film on top of a dielectric in any of the configurations known to those skilled in the art (for instance micro-strip, strip-line, co-planar, parallel plate or slot-line configurations). A part of the circuit such as the characteristic strip or slot of said configurations is shaped in a novel space-filling geometry which allows a significant size reduction of the circuital component. Miniature transmission lines, capacitors, inductors, resistors, filters and oscillators can be manufactured this way.

A ground plane is deposited on the bottom of the substrate. Conductive vias through the substrate and that contact the ground plane are located on both sides of the metallized slot surfaces. Conductive pads on the upper surface and which contact the vias provide additional shielding.
