The battery system can be configured to monitoring one or more condition of a battery using a battery electrolyte controller that is separate from the battery, adjusting one or more properties of an electrolyte in an electrolyte conduit, where the electrolyte conduit is coupled to an inlet and an outlet on the battery, and activating a pump to move the electrolyte with the adjusted one or more properties into the battery.

A specific surface area, porosity, and pore distribution are determined by the carbon matrix. 摘要： A portable object includes a case forming a housing in which is arranged a device requiring air to operate. The case includes at least a first opening. The portable object further includes a closure device provided with a valve system arranged to have a first stable, open position in which the orifice is open and allows air to pass through, and a second stable, closed position, in which the orifice is closed so that the portable object is impermeable to gases and to liquids. Switching from the open position to the closed position is automatic in case of immersion.

摘要： A catalyst is provided for the two electron reduction of oxygen. The catalyst can be reversible or near-reversible. The catalyst comprises a gold and a cobalt coordination complex, i.e., N,N′-bis(salicylidene)ethylene-diaminocobalt (II) (cobalt salen) or a derivative thereof. The cobalt coordination complex can be polymerized to form a film, for example, via electropolymerization, to cover a gold surface. Also provided are metal-air batteries, fuel cells, and air electrodes that comprise the catalyst, as well as methods of using the catalyst, for example, to reduce oxygen and/or produce hydrogen peroxide.

摘要： The present invention provides a metal-air cell that allows pieces of an electrode active material that have fallen off to contribute to a discharge reaction and thus has high power generation efficiency.The metal-air cell according to the present invention includes an electrolyte cell containing an electrolyte, a metal electrode disposed in the electrolyte cell and serving as an anode, and an air electrode serving as a cathode. The metal electrode includes a current collector and an electrode active material part disposed on the current collector and made of an electrode active material. The current collector includes a supporting part supporting the electrode active material part and a receiving part disposed between a bottom of the electrolyte cell and the electrode active material part. The receiving part includes a projection projecting in the electrolyte cell beyond a side surface of the electrode active material part toward a sidewall of the electrolyte cell.
