摘要： Introduced herein are various techniques for displaying virtual and augmented reality content via a head-mounted display (HMD). The techniques can be used to improve the effectiveness of the HMD, as well as the general experience and comfort of users of the HMD. A binocular HMD system may present visual stabilizers to each eye that allow users to more easily fuse the digital content seen by each eye. In some embodiments the visual stabilizers are positioned within the digital content so that they converge to a shared location when viewed by a user, while in other embodiments the visual stabilizers are mapped to different locations within the user's field of view (e.g., peripheral areas) and are visually distinct from one another. These techniques allow the user to more easily fuse the digital content, thereby decreasing the eye fatigue and strain typically experienced when viewing virtual or augmented reality content.

It also comprises steps comprising acquiring an information item relating to a flight phase associated with the reference point, acquiring an information item relating to a selected display range, determining a vertical centering coefficient of a display window relating to the vertical flight profile, as a function of the flight phase and transmitting, to the display management system, instructions for displaying the display window as a function of the altitude of the reference point and of the centering coefficient of the display window.

摘要： Systems, methods, and computer readable media for dynamically setting an executing application's display buffer size are described. To ameliorate display device overscan operations, the size of an executing application's display buffer may be set based on the display device's extent and a display mode. In addition, contents of the executing application's display buffer may be operated on as they are moved to a frame buffer based on the display mode. In one mode, for example, display buffer contents may be scaled before being placed into the frame buffer. In another mode, a black border may be placed around display buffer contents as it is placed into the frame buffer. In yet another mode, display buffer contents may be copied into the frame buffer without further processing.

摘要： In conventional liquid crystal display controllers, the display is reduced in the stand-by state but the liquid crystal display duty is not changed, i.e., even the common electrodes of the rows that are not producing display are scanned, and the consumption of electric power is not decreased to a sufficient degree in the stand-by state. A liquid crystal display controller includes a drive duty selection register capable of being rewritten by a microprocessor, and a drive bias selection register. When the display is changed from the whole display on a liquid crystal display panel to a partial display on part of the rows only, the preset values of the drive duty selection register and of the drive bias selection register are changed, so that the display is selectively produced on a portion of the liquid crystal display panel at a low voltage with a low-duty drive.

Furthermore, the display control device reads out the image data from the address of the image storage unit specified by the address information and specifies the position on the pixel array specified by the image description data to the display to input the read out image data.

The apparatus further includes a first multiplexing unit having a set of inputs, each input corresponding to and coupled to an entry of the DDA table. The first multiplexing unit also having a control input, the control input causing the first multiplexing unit to route one of the inputs of the set of inputs to an output. Additionally, the apparatus includes a comparison block having logic suitable for comparing each entry of the lookup table to a comparison value. Furthermore, the apparatus include a select control block having logic suitable for generating a control signal based on an output of the comparison block, the output of the comparison block indicating which entry of the lookup table matched the comparison value. The control signal is generated on an output of the select control block, and the output of the select control block is coupled to the control input of the first multiplexing unit.

摘要： There is provided a liquid crystal display control device which can display pictures in a magnification mode by using only a memory having low-speed access and a low storage capacity. When a video signal has intermediate resolution or less, the enlargement processing is performed by a frame memory, a line memory and an enlargement processing control circuit. If the input operation and the output operation to and from the frame memory are synchronized with each other, it is sufficient for the frame memory to have a storage capacity of two lines. When the video signal has the same high resolution as a liquid crystal display panel, the video signal is output through a gate circuit to a display timing generating circuit, and it is displayed in a through mode. In this case, no processing is performed by the frame memory or the like.
