摘要： Provided in this disclosure is an antitheft system for an automotive catalytic converter including a wire loop for conducting a current to establish an electrical circuit. One or more hose clamps are provided for securing some or all of the wire loop alongside a vehicle exhaust system including the catalytic converter. A monitoring circuit is in electrical communication with the wire loop, for monitoring the electrical circuit established in the wire loop. A detector circuit is connected to the monitoring circuit, for detecting a discontinuity in the electrical circuit indicative of a disconnection of the wire loop. An alarm circuit is connected to the detector circuit, for activating an alarm upon detection of the discontinuity in the electrical circuit. An arming circuit includes a detection circuit for detecting insertion of a removable key, and another detection circuit for detecting insertion of the wire loop which establishes the electrical circuit.

A specific implementation of the method comprises: reading information about monitoring data acquisition methods of monitored objects, the monitoring data acquisition method comprising an active acquisition method and a passive acquisition method; executing following steps for each of the monitored objects having the active acquisition method as the monitoring data acquisition method: generating a monitoring data acquisition task of the monitored object; determining a monitoring data acquisition frequency of the monitored object; and adding the monitoring data acquisition task to to-be-executed monitoring data acquisition task sets in a defined period corresponding to the monitoring data acquisition frequency; executing, in successive defined periods, monitoring data acquisition tasks in the corresponding to-be-executed monitoring data acquisition task sets; and parsing acquired monitoring data of the monitored objects to generate a monitoring result. The implementation solves the problem of high system resource occupation and waste of system resources during the monitoring process.

摘要： An alarm system monitors a home, business, or other property for fire, burglary, break-in, or other event that may warrant raising an alarm. The alarm system is configured to detect tampering, whereby someone intentionally impedes the ability of the system to raise an alarm or otherwise interferes the system's operation. An alarm panel of the alarm system communicates with a server. At certain times, the alarm system transmits a series of packets to the server using a unidirectional protocol. Upon receipt of one of the packets, the server alternates between monitoring for an incoming packet and ignoring any incoming packets. Detection of an incoming packet during a monitoring time period causes the server to transition to ignoring packets for a sleep period of time. Completion of the sleep period of time causes the server to return to monitoring for the monitoring period of time.
