摘要： A child safety device and system is disclosed that alerts one or more authorized users when a caregiver walks away from a child in a car seat or similar location, when leaving a child alone is dangerous or otherwise undesirable, such as in a hot car. Detailed logging enables a review of all times that the caregiver was detected as moving too far from the child in a monitored location. The device includes at least one pressure sensor to detect the presence of a child in a location, a Bluetooth Low Energy beacon to provide a signal when energized, and a battery electrically connected to both the Bluetooth Low Energy beacon and the at least one pressure sensor, the Bluetooth Low Energy beacon being energized when pressure is applied to the pressure sensor, and the Bluetooth Low Energy beacon being deactivated when no pressure is applied to the pressure sensor.

It has a siren powered by gas or electricity. It has a wireless first interface, through which the siren can be remotely activated and/or deactivated by the mobile operating unit. The siren can be activated manually by an activation command that matches an activation code stored in a memory unit of the signal unit and/or the operating unit. The siren is automatically activated after the wireless connection to the operating unit if a connection signal strength of the operating unit falls below a threshold and/or the wireless connection to the operating unit is interrupted.

摘要： A system and method that detects a presence of a child in a car seat comprises a pad and a receiver. The pad comprises a communication element, a unique identifier, a power source, a switch configured to adapt a power state from “off” to “on” by means of a child closing the switch disposed between the pad's power source and the pad's communication element. The receiver comprises an analysis element storing the unique identifier of at least one pad and a communication element in communication with at least one pad when the pad is powered “on”. The receiver determines a presence state of a child in the car seat when the receiver is in communication with the powered pad. The receiver determines the presence state when the receiver loses communication with the pad. The receiver further generates notifications with the determined child's presence state in the car seat.
