Such methods may include: obtaining a sample of digitized handwritten text, the sample of digitized handwritten text including glyph data corresponding to a first glyph, the first glyph corresponding to the needed code point of the set of code points; associating the first glyph with the needed code point; identifying stroke data in the glyph data, the stroke data corresponding to a stroke component of the first glyph, determining a plurality of dimensional values of the stroke component in the stroke data; and associating the plurality of dimensional values with a new code point sample of the needed code point in a code point set data structure.

摘要： A method, apparatus, and manufacture for writing and annotation is provided. An image is provided on a surface. In one embodiment, each time invisible ink is deposited on the surface, the location of the invisible ink deposited on the surface is detected before the invisible ink vanishes from the surface. In another embodiment, when a tip of a stylus is in contact with a location of an image on the surface, employing three or more light detectors to detect light at the location. The detected light is employed to determine a position and an orientation of the tip of the stylus and the location on the surface, and modifying the image based on the stored information.

In an exemplary embodiment, the present invention includes in response to receiving a writing on a pressure sensing touchpad logically coupled a computer system, recording a position and a pressure of one or more points of the writing via a pressure sensing touchscreen, executing a set of logical operations normalizing the writing, comparing the normalized writing to one or more stored writing parameters, executing a set of logical operations determining the normalized writing is within a tolerance of writing parameter deviation limits, thereby verifying the writing, and in response to determining the writing is within the tolerance of writing parameter deviation limits, storing, by the computer system, a value indicating that the writing is valid.

摘要： Systems and methods to automatically generate classifiers are provided. A labeled dataset is initially received. The dataset may be for a positive class, or may be a negative for a class, or a false positive class. N features that are predictive for the class (or false positive or the negative class) are identified. These features are combined within a classifier dictionary. Medical records received may be processed in order to be machine readable. Features within the medical records are identified and are compared against the dictionary of classifiers. Matches indicate classes within the medical record. The classifier dictionary may be periodically updated in response to insufficient classification accuracy, or when new data becomes available.
