摘要： A system and method of illuminating a foot pedal with an illuminated protective covering. The illuminated protective covering can include a plurality of illuminating devices surrounding at least a majority of a perimeter of the foot pedal. The illuminated protective covering can also include a sheet surrounding the upper surface and the lower surface of the foot pedal and the plurality of illuminating devices, the sheet being configured to protect the foot pedal from debris during use. A friction portion can be attached to the sheet, the friction portion being positioned on the sheet such that the friction portion is adjacent the bottom surface of the foot pedal when the sheet surrounds the foot pedal, the friction portion being configured to prevent sliding of the foot pedal against the floor or other surface.

The skirt member includes a base plate outwardly extending from the coupling end, a wall upwardly extending from peripheral portions of the base plate, and a groove defined between the wall and the body. The operation member is configured to associate with the electronic device, and the operation member with the body and the skirt is completely separated from the casing.

摘要： A throttle pedal assembly comprises a housing having a first and second side, top, bottom, front and back walls; a main chamber open to the front and bottom of the housing and a sensor cavity. A pedal assembly comprises a pedal, a pedal arm, and a head at an end of the pedal arm rotatable a pivot axis. A magnet is operatively connected to the pedal assembly to rotate on the pivot axis as the pedal assembly rotates about the pivot axis. A Hall effect sensor assembly mounted in the sensor cavity to be proximate the magnet yet separated from the magnet. The cavity and Hall effect sensor assembly are respectively shaped and sized such that the Hall chip and the magnet lay on a common axis such that the Hall chip and the magnet are coaxially aligned. The sensor cavity is sealed to prevent contaminants from entering the cavity.

A compressible seal is positioned in a gap between the housing and the rotatable and translatable input mechanism. The compressible seal may resist and/or prevent passage of contaminants into the aperture and/or obscure one or more internal components. The compressible seal may be configured to collapse or bend when the rotatable and translatable member translates.

摘要： A vehicle pedal with a contacting position sensor. The pedal includes a housing with an interior housing wall that divides the housing into first and second interior housing chambers. The drum of the pedal arm is located in the first interior housing chamber and the sensor rotor is located in the second interior housing chamber. First and second housing side covers cover the first and second interior housing chambers respectively. The drum is mounted on and supported by the interior housing wall and the first housing cover for rotation of the drum in the first interior housing chamber relative to the pedal housing. A retainer with a pin and a clip extend through respective through-holes in the rotor and into respective slots in the drum and the clip engages against an interior shoulder in the drum for locking the rotor on the drum.
