摘要： It is provided to implement a different number of logical slaves in a field device for use in an AS interface network as a function of the assigned address, which slaves may be addressed using the assigned address in the standard or in the expanded addressing mode. Thus, in a field device, it is possible to provide slaves having different profiles, via which different data types may be exchanged. Furthermore, a method is provided, with which a field device having different slaves is able to be addressed in a simple manner while avoiding double addressing.

For this purpose, the automation component automatically requests a communication address during log-on (S1). A server present in the communication network transmits a corresponding communication address to the requesting automation component or to the client (S2). 摘要： A slave station (102), in an initial state, puts a relay device to a relay-disconnected status and transmits an assignment request requesting address assignment for the own slave station. A master station (101), in response to an assignment request from an adjacent slave station (102), performs address assignment for the slave station (102), and transmits an assignment request response containing an assigned address. The slave station (102), upon reception of the assignment request response, stores the address contained in the assignment request response to a memory, and puts the relay device to a relay status. If the slave station (102) receives the assignment request after address assignment for the slave station is completed, the slave station performs address assignment for a slave station being a sender of the assignment request instead of relaying the assignment request, and transmits an assignment request response containing an assigned address.

摘要： A home automation system having a user controlled definition function is operated in response to input of an inherent call code. The system includes power line controller PLC modules for switching power to appliances connected thereto in response to receipt of a control code; monitoring devices for displaying input video information; a video display processing device having a font memory and a video memory for assessing font data corresponding to a character code received from the font memory in response to receipt of the character code and for providing a video signal corresponding to the assessed font data to the monitoring device; a control device for providing to the video display processing device character code corresponding to a user defined number, device name, call code, and control code in response to a set user defined function; the control device also stores the user defined number, the call code, and the control code in an address region corresponding to the user defined number, and transmits the call code and control code in response to input of the user defined number; and an interfacing device for transmitting the call code and control code output from the control device to the power line controller PLC modules.

摘要： A plurality of terminals on a communication network are connectable to a transmission line to communicate mutually. Each terminal includes a single device or a composite device essentially consisting of a plurality of devices. Transmissions and reception of messages to and from the plurality of terminals on the communication network is performed using an address system assigned to each terminal. The address system comprises a device address or DA assigned to the individual terminals, a sub-device address or SDA assigned to respective devices constituting each terminal and having a single or a plurality of values SDA, and a function address or FA assigned to respective functions possessed by each device and having a single or a plurality of values of FA, whereby even when a terminal to be controlled is a composite device, only a function desired to be controlled can readily be controlled and extensibility of the system can be improved to facilitate control processing in the system through communication.
